Getting Better

William left Greco’s house after it had passed midnight. He still finds it difficult to accept everything after hearing it all. The only difference now is that he knows they are telling the truth. He is Lawrence’s cousin, the son of the former alpha of the yellow-eyed werewolves to a human, and he is the niece of the current one, Greco. He’s not a typical average person. He is a hybrid of a human and a yellow-eyed werewolf.

He was walking in the cold breeze. With the exception of moonlight, the lamp’s flames provide illumination on a gloomy night. Millions of stars may be seen twinkling in the great sky as well. Every step of William’s was deliberate. He’s looking down at his feet as he walks.

“How come you didn’t eat?”

As he entered his residence, William was astonished to hear Blake’s voice. Except for the food he had left on the dining table earlier, nothing had changed.

“I don’t have an appetite,” William said, and he sat down immediately in the wooden chair in his living room.
