Chapter 24

GINGER

I groaned, my stomach burned, my limbs were sore. I struggled to open my eyes and instantly shut them again, the light scathing my pupils. Goddess, I was in so much pain. I had to go to the hospital. I groaned again.

The pain in my stomach worsened, and acid pushed its way up my esophagus. I tried to swallow and shove it back down, wanting to fall back asleep. But it was useless. If I didn't get up at that second, I'd throw up in my bed.

I rolled until I made it to the edge, sliding out of the bed onto my knees. Finally opening my eyes, I looked around and realized I wasn't in my room. I blinked, and memories started flooding back from the previous night.

Fuck—I was in Tyce's room, wasn’t I? My stomach grumbled, forcing me to my feet. I sprinted as fast as I could, recalling where the bathroom was from last time.
