Chapter 25- Beta Claim

Our day had been eventful and we finally put the mysteries to rest before sending Mallory to prison to serve a thirty-year sentence for attempted murder on three accounts. We added another forty to her sentence for the guards she had killed. It was nice to have an end to all the crap we were looking into.
At the end of the day, I went to the hospital to walk home with Esadowa. She blended in with the she-wolves really easily here and the nursing staff enjoyed her. She belonged here with us.
I met her out front of the hospital and offered her my hand as she walked up to me. She took it and we started to walk toward my house. As we walked, I asked questions about her day and was happy that she had a great first official day at the hospital.

Jacob Ivy called and told me everything that she and mom learned at Juniper Moon about the recent cattle theft.
