7: “Are you the Alpha’s mate?”

The kitchen is now a complete mess. I sat there in silence for few minutes before kneeling down, a bit shaking, and took some pieces of the broken plates and glasses with my hands. I didn't realize how scared I was until I saw tears falling to the floor.

"Just leave it there." Suddenly Alpha Flynn returned, kneeling down next to me and took my hands. Then he wrapped my arms around his neck and lifted me up bridal style so that i won’t step on any of the sharp pieces. I'm too afraid to actually talk back to him right now.

"I'm sorry that I scared you." He whispered. He walked us to the living room and put me on the couch. "You know that I will never hurt you right?"

I shrugged, feeling mentally manipulated. He keeps changing his mood and i feel like i am walking on egg shells around him. I know it’s too soon to judge but him being a bipolar mess doesn’t make me like him any better, "Can you please just let me go to school? I skipped school yesterday. I can't skip again today." I said with a shaky voice. I can’t wait to get away from him.

Alpha Flynn, who is kneeling down in front of me, sighed. "Alright. Do you need to go to your house first to get your bag or anything?" 

I shook my head quickly. All my textbook are in my locker so that won’t be necessary.

Then we walked out of the house and to Alpha Flynn's black carrera. He opened the door for me.

The drive was pretty long. We spent about 30 minutes to get to my school. He stopped the car and i'm ready to jump off. But Alpha Flynn got our of the car faster than me and reached for my door. He opened the door for me and handed me his hand.

I was really hoping he wouldn’t do that. I can see everyone on the premises paused and watched us as their mouths fell to the floor. It’s already shocking enough to have The Alpha visit the school, let alone with me, The Wolfless girl.

"I'm going to pick you up at 2, okay?" He stated with my hands still on his. 

I hesitated. I actually have another plan in mind. But I quietly nodded just to get him to let go of me. I walked towards the main door, feeling eyes on me, including The Alpha who stayed on his spot until i step into the school building, totally unnecessary. 

I grabbed my books from my locker still with people giving me sinister look. They hate me enough as it is, knowing i somehow got close to their dream man makes me a bigger target for them, which i don’t think will change much of anything since i don’t really interact with anyone in school.

I sit where I usually sit, at the back of the class, when Mrs. Peterson, our history class teacher. The class was quiet, i could still feel eyes on me. People are not nice to me, but they usually just ignore me and act like i was never there, which is better than having people look at you like they want to stab you with a pencil.

*Mitz, you hear me?*

That's Toby's voice. He sounds calm.

*Toby!*

*Is Alpha Flynn still there?*

*No, I'm in school and everyone is giving a death stare.*

*Yeah, the news has spread all over the pack. Are you okay?*

*I don't know if i'm okay or not, Toby. I'm just confused.*

*You're gonna be fine. I'll come to you.*

Then the mindlink stopped. I feel a bit relieved that Toby is coming but also remembering that Alpha Flynn said he is going to pick me up later. I’m not sure what he is going to do to Toby when he finds out Toby picked me up instead from school, but i guess we can figure it out once Toby gets here.

The bell rang and I walked out of the history class and to the restroom. I plan to wait there until Toby comes. I walked into the restroom and suddenly someone pulled me by the hair and threw me across the floor.

I didn’t even scream, just can't believe what just happened. My head is throbbing from the impact.

"You fucking bitch." Someone yelled at me. It was Quinn, people know her as the hottest werewolf. She hasn't mated yet but i’ve heard about her sleeping around, even with mated males, creating so many enemies along the way. 

There are 3 other girls that I don't remember the names of. Quinn kneeled down in front of me and slapped me.

"Let me ask you, are you The Alpha's mate?"

"No.. i don't know." I answered quickly. 

"Are you fucking kidding me? Is this a joke?" She pulled my hair again, harder than before. "Did you fucking sleep with the Alpha then?"

"Please let me go.. please.." i cried, holding on my throbbing head.

"Answer me bitch!" She screamed in my face. Then the other girl pulled on my sweater and ripped the neck to the chest part. I immediately cover my neck with my hands.

They are all looking at me with wide eyes.

She hit my face with her fist this time. "Just look at you, slut. Acting all innocent and stuff but suddenly fuck around with the alpha."

"There is no way you’re his mate, bitch." The other girl slam my head against the cold tiles and I think I lost my vision for a second.

Then I heard a door being slammed open. The girls suddenly walked back and I felt two strong arms wrapped around me.

"Mitz, can you hear me? Mitz..."
