I went stiff as I felt a growl rumbling in the chest I was pushed against followed by several exclamations from the people surrounding us. Damien growled in return, "She's my mate" he seethed and I shivered from the rage radiation off him.

The grip on my body loosened as the other man went to grab Damien and without thinking I sprinted through the door, running as fast as my weak legs could legs could carry me.

How did I get mated to another so suddenly?
