16. FRIEND'S FIGHT
It was weekend again, Ben hated weekend cos the days made her laze around the house, and she loved it in another way cos she had two days to rest before starting the new week's stress.
She set out to get her toiletries, the blinding sun was out again. On the way, she met the housing agent that helped with the her apartment. Been a while they saw each other, she exchanged pleasantries with him and noticed there was a lady standing close to him.
"Hello." The lady greeted Ben, she smiled at her and waved her before proceeding to where she was heading to.
The agent left with the lady afterwards. Ben got to the mini mart and went directly to where toiletries were packed, she picked a few things, paid the cashier and strolled back to her house thinking of the activities she'd engage in when she gets home.

She was still deep asleep when the constant banging at the door woke her up. She groaned when it didn't stop."Who the hell?" The day everyone anticipated and spoke about was finally here, the large hall that was used for important gatherings was the venue of the end of the year dinner.
