Chapter 22: Awake

Faith's POV

I felt as if the light had blinded my eyes as I slowly opened them. I squinted my eyes due to the brightness closing them again. I re-opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the colour white. I looked around and saw white walls surrounding me. 'Where was I?.....what happened to me?'. I gasped all of a sudden as flashes of images popped into my mind. The fire, Leo, me falling to the ground. I quickly shot up from the bed but fell back as I groaned holding my head. My head was in pain making me grit my teeth. I felt a bandage around my head and closed my eyes taking a deep breath. "Faith" I heard a heavy, deep voice speak.
