For a moment, I just stared at Donald.

Then I laughed.

It came out rough and disbelieving, the sound of someone refusing to let fear win.

“You’re bluffing,” I said hoarsely. “You’re just saying that to mess with me. That pompous asshole Alpha blackthorn would never even agree to interact with us, much less agree to form an alliance.”

Donald tilted his head, watching me like I was something mildly amusing. Then he laughed too. Though his was Not hysterical like mine.....his was smooth, confident, and cruel.

“Oh, Mabel,” he said, shaking his head. “Why would I waste my time messing with you?! If only you knew how insignificant you really are to me.”

My stomach tightened.

“And it was actually Alpha Blackthorn himself who suddenly reached out to me yesterday,” Donald continued calmly. “It was he himself who offered the partnership not me.”

My breath caught. “Why would he do that?”

Donald shrugged, “Maybe it was because he heard I was the Alpha now,” Donald added, smirking, “and that I was about to marry your sister Anna. It’s you he hates, not us.”

“No,” I whispered, shaking my head. “No, you’re lying.”

“I’m not,” he said flatly. “He sent word personally.”

I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry.

“Why?” I stammered. “Why would you ever accept anything from that bloodthirsty monster? He’s our worst enemy! He slaughtered my family!”

Donald shrugged. “Because I’m not emotional and I have no problem with him.”

I stared at him in horror.

“Plus, He offered us free access to the northern resources,” Donald went on. “Trade routes. Weapons. Territory and Money.”

My heart pounded violently.

“And all he wants in return,” Donald said slowly, “is whatever he asks for.”

I snapped.

“That’s a trap!” I screamed, chains rattling as I surged forward. “You idiot! He’ll use this alliance to destroy us! That’s how he works!”

Donald burst out laughing.

“You really are naive,” he sneered. “You don’t understand politics, Mabel. You never did.”

He leaned closer, his voice dropping.

“You were only meant to serve men not do business. That’s all women like you are good for.”

Something ugly twisted in my chest.

“You think I don’t see it?” he continued. “Women are weak. Emotional. That’s why they’re not trusted to run packs.”

I stared at him in disbelief, rage boiling over.

“You say that,” I snapped, “but you only became Alpha because you married me! You would have nothing without me!”

His smile suddenly vanished at my words.

“This pack is mine,” I hissed. “It belongs to me and It always will. You’re just a fraud.”

Donald’s face darkened with fury.

“Shut up,” he warned.

“You’re incompetent,” I shot back. “And I won’t let you destroy the pack my parents died protecting.”

He stepped closer, eyes blazing.

“And what will you do about it?” he challenged. “You’re weak. Wolfless. Powerless. Locked in chains.”

I met his gaze, unflinching.

“I’ll get my freedom,” I said quietly. “And when I do, I’ll hunt you down.”

His brow furrowed slightly.

“After that, I’ll take back ten times what you stole from me.” I snarl with all the hate I can muster.

And For just a second.., just a second...he looked uneasy.

Then he scoffed. “Dream on bitch.”

Then He turned and walked away.

….

A few hours later, guards dragged me out of the dungeon.

They forced me into rough servant clothes, thin, ugly fabric that smelled like sweat and old soap. My wrists ached where the chains had been removed, replaced by raw red marks.

They shoved me into the grand hall where Anna stood beside Donald, glowing.

She wore one of my beautiful gowns, with her hair styled perfectly, my mother’s precious jewels adorning her neck. She leaned into Donald like she owned him, and everything else.

“Doesn’t she look pathetic?” Anna said, smirking when she saw me.

Donald chuckled. “Perfect for tonight.”

They were giddy and Excited. Like children waiting for a festival.

“Our guest will be impressed,” Anna said smugly.

I felt sick.

In my mind, I pictured seeing Alpha Blackthorn as I always imagined him ....old, twisted, ugly inside and out. A monster whose face matched his cruelty.

Then suddenly, the doors boomed open.

And a line of tall, broad northern warriors marched in, their presence heavy and intimidating.

“Announcing the arrival of the great Alpha among Alphas, Alpha Alistair Blackthorn.” one of them called loudly and the air immediately shifted.

Then he stepped inside… The Demon of the North had arrived.

But the moment I saw him, everything I thought I knew shattered.

Because this man was not the old decrepit man I had Imagined, No, He was young, Huge and had the most piercing stare I had ever seen.

I frowned in confusion, because he looked nothing like the rumors said he would be.

This man was Tall. Broad. Muscular in a way that screamed power. Dark hair framed a sharp, strikingly handsome face, his eyes glowing with something ancient and dangerous.

But at the same time, this man was most definitely the powerful Demon of the north because The pressure of his presence alone was suffocating.

All around me, People began to drop to their knees instantly.

But Not me.

Instead of bowing, I lifted my chin and stared straight into the eyes of the man who destroyed my life. I would cower for no man. Not any more.

And the second he saw me, He froze suddenly In place, then low dangerous growl began rumbling from his chest causing Everyone in the room to stare at us in shock.

Then… Slowly and deliberately, Alpha Blackthorn lifted his hand, pointed at me and growled one word at me.

“Mine.” He sneered and my heart froze.

The thing coming through the torn sky is massive and wrong in ways that make the original entities look almost natural by comparison. The Reconciliation doesn’t have a fixed form, it’s constantly shifting between what cosmic law used to be and what it is now, caught in the space between old reality and new reality and furious about existing in that contradiction. One moment it looks like burning equations, the next like frozen time, then like the concept of balance given hostile form.“Mabel of the Silver Wolf,” it says again, and its voice makes my bones vibrate with wrongness. “You altered fundamental cosmic law without permission from the forces that govern existence. You broke reality’s foundation to save mortals who were always meant to be sacrificed. This cannot stand.”The Reconciliation descends toward the convergence point and everything it passes over starts glitching between states, trees flickering between alive and dead, warriors caught between wounded and healed, the gro

I’m staring up at the New Primordial that contains all my children and my mind is racing through every possible choice I could make, every person I could bring back, every wound I could ask them to heal.Anna deserves to live, she sacrificed herself to save me and left Sera without a mother. Donald died trying to give me strength to fight, gave up everything to fix his mistakes. My parents were murdered before any of this cosmic horror started and they never got justice. The children whose minds shattered when they were used as keys, they were innocent victims who deserve to be whole again. But I keep thinking about something the entities said, about how existence itself causes suffering, about how every choice creates more pain down the line.“I don’t want you to bring anyone back,” I say, and the words feel like I’m tearing out my own heart. “And I don’t want you to heal what’s already broken.”The New Primordial tilts its head and I can see confusion in the gesture, traces of Confl

The convergence point explodes with light and darkness happening simultaneously in the same space and when I can see again the body is still there but it’s different now.The Primordial has features that look disturbingly human mixed into the cosmic vastness, a face that’s somehow both my children and something infinite, proportions that still violate natural law but in ways that feel less alien. And when it speaks the voice is layered with sounds I recognize, Nyx’s quiet determination and Eternal’s ancient wisdom and Confluence’s calculating tone all woven through the entity chorus.“We are awake but we are not what we were meant to be,” it says, and I can hear confusion in those multiple voices. “We have the power and the purpose but we also have something else, something the original Primordial never possessed.”The New Primordial looks down at itself like it’s trying to understand what it’s become.“We know we will die eventually,” it continues, and Confluence’s voice comes throug

Mabel’s POVReality doesn’t break all at once.It frays. The first tear is small, subtle enough that if I weren’t already terrified, I might have missed it. The river to our right ripples the wrong way, climbing its own banks like it’s trying to escape gravity. Pebbles lift from the earth and hover midair, trembling as if unsure which direction is down. The wind blows in circles, folding back into itself. Then time hiccups.Marcus takes a step forward.Takes it again. And again.Three identical seconds replay in front of my eyes before the world lurches onward like a carriage hitting a rut.I grip Alistair’s hand so tightly my knuckles burn. His fingers are ice-cold, but solid. For now. Around us, our family moves like survivors wading through a nightmare—Adrian guiding the younger ones, Dante clutching Lysander, the freed children clinging to parents who can’t anchor them to anything. We aren’t being pulled by wind or gravity. We’re being gathered. The air itself curves toward a sing

The final three seals break simultaneously with a sound like reality screaming and three more entities emerge into the world.Echo manifests as something that copies and amplifies everything it touches, turning single sounds into deafening cacophonies and small movements into earthquakes. Decay accelerates entropy wherever it exists, making stone crumble to dust and living things age centuries in seconds. Silence erases sound and communication and connection itself, creating zones where nothing can interact with anything else.Seven active entity aspects running loose across the world and the three children who were bound to them collapse like puppets with cut strings, their purpose fulfilled and their minds shattered by being used as cosmic keys.Their parents are screaming and trying to revive them but I can see in their empty eyes that there’s nothing left to revive, the entities burned out everything that made them human when they forced the seals open remotely. The entities start

  • Wrath Of A Scorned Luna    Chapter 57

Confluence exists in a place that shouldn’t be possible and it’s not nothing like everyone thinks, it’s everything that’s been erased compressed into a space that defies the concept of space itself. He can see the cities that ceased to exist, still standing but frozen in the moment they were taken. People mid-step, mid-breath, mid-thought, all of them preserved in erasure like insects in amber. The eastern continent is here in its entirety, millions of lives suspended in the instant before they stopped being real. The Emptiness entity is here too and it’s vast beyond comprehension, not a physical form but an absence so profound it has presence. It’s watching Confluence with something that might be curiosity if cosmic entities could be curious. “You entered willingly,” it says in a voice made of silence speaking. “Nothing enters willingly. Why would you choose to stop existing?” Confluence looks at the entity with his calculating infant eyes and realizes immediately that this is go
