Monique wondered if Henry planned to punish her by locking her in this house.

“Well, aren’t you coming?” Henry turned around and called out.

She was delighted—a sincere smile graced her face. “Yes, immediately.”

She went to grab the keys before following Henry out.

When they arrived at the Moore manor, Angel was already asleep. Monique went to clean herself and get ready for bed while Henry was busy in the study.
