The next day, I paid Radhika a surprise visit. I opened the door and went inside. Upon entering the living room, I heard voices from the kitchen. It was Radhika and her friend, Soni. They were both chatting about Sidd. I thought I had a friend but what I heard shocked me to the core.

“Of course, girlfriend, Sidd is super cute, caring, and simply amazing. He is the most handsome guy I have ever seen,” Radhika praised cheerfully.

“But he has a girlfriend, right? What are you going to do about her?” Soni asked.

“You don’t have to worry about her, she’s already in the past,” Radhika set forth.

At that moment, I decided to walk in and the two were astounded to see me.

“Hey, Rani! You didn’t tell me you were coming,” Radhika stated cheerfully and tried to embrace me.

“Don’t touch me!” I flinched. “How could you? I thought you were a friend and I trusted you. I should have listened to Kiara when she said you were a no good person,” I poured out. I felt like crying then. For heaven’s sa
