Divine and Ronald had an amazing time together yesterday. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. It's been a while since I was sexually active, and the last time was when I was 18 with my ex-boyfriend, Hary. But being with Ronald is something else entirely. He fulfills a craving deep within me.
"Good morning, baby. How are you feeling today?" Ronald asks, and I can't help but giggle as I rest my head on top of his chest.
"Morning, daddy. I'm good, thanks for asking," I reply, feeling a rush of affection towards him. Ronald's smile lights up his face, and it warms my heart.
"I love it when you call me daddy. It gives me the courage to find myself!" Ronald expresses, leaning closer to me. He playfully gives me a love bite on my neck, and I moan with delight while he lets out a gratifying groan.
I notice a shift in Ronald's expression, and concern fills me. "What's wrong?" I ask, worried about the change in his demeanor.
"It's not you, love. I would love to keep this going, but I can't. I have a meeting at 8 o'clock," Ronald explains, his disappointment evident on his face.
I understand the demands of work and nod understandingly. "Yeah, me too. Mine's at 8:30," I say, reassuring him that I also have responsibilities. Ronald gets off me, and I make my way to the bathroom to freshen up.
"F*ck, I love it when you walk naked," Ronald says, and I giggle at his remark.
"Do I make your dick hard?" I playfully tease as I enter the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
Ronald and I have found ourselves entangled in something we can't fully control. We're drawn to each other, even though we have different tastes and preferences that make it challenging to connect on some levels. Despite not knowing much about each other, we share a deep love.
As I finish bathing and prepare for the day, I head downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast. However, I'm surprised to find a chef already present, ready to start cooking. I ask him to stop, insisting that I'll be the one preparing the meal today. I want to show Ronald that I can be a good partner and wife.
The chef gives me a hard time, as he believes guests shouldn't be cooking in Ronald's house. But I stand my ground, determined to prove myself. After setting the table, Ronald returns, appearing perturbed. I inquire about his well-being, but he remains silent, lost in his thoughts. Something is clearly bothering him, and I can tell by his expression.
"Honey, breakfast is ready!" I announce, hoping to distract him from whatever is troubling him. He finally responds, sharing that he had a hectic time at the gym and lost a race to his friend Ibrahim. His words make me burst into laughter.
"What's so funny?" he asks, puzzled by my reaction. I continue laughing, finding joy in his unexpected competitiveness. After a while, I calm down. "Baby, you don't even look like someone who just came from the gym, but hey, it doesn't matter. Come sit down and eat breakfast with me. I'll be off to work in 20 minutes," I suggest, trying to lighten the atmosphere. Ronald takes a seat, joining me at the table.
"Baby, before you eat, you need to pray," I declare.
His response is a loud exclamation of surprise. Ronald is not a person who prays, as he never received any religious teachings from his family. While he acknowledges the
existence of God, he doesn't believe in Him.
"It's fine, I'll pray," I assure him, understanding his discomfort. I say a prayer before we begin our meal, and afterward, I leave for work.
Once I've gone, Ronald calls KG, his right-hand man who assists him with his affairs in his absence. KG arrives shortly after, and they dive into their meeting.
"I've noticed that there are people after me. I need you to dig deeper into the investigation and let me know what you find, but keep it hidden from Divine for now. She'll find out when the time is right," Ronald instructs KG while he takes notes on the task at hand.
"Yes, boss. Give me two days, and I'll have the investigation completed," KG responds, and Ronald offers him a drink.
KG used to work in the South African military, but after engaging in illegal activities, he was fired. He later joined forces with Ronald, and they have been working together since 2015. They not only have a professional partnership but also a deep friendship rooted in trust. Ronald confides in KG, knowing that their bond is unbreakable.
Ronald must find the person who is after him before it's too late. He wants to protect Divine from all the drama because she deserves better than games and deception.
It's been five incredible months since Ronald and I embarked on this journey together. Our love has grown, blossoming like a vibrant garden in full bloom. Ronald has welcomed me into his world, introducing me to his closest friends, and allowing me to witness the depth of his character. Our relationship thrives, and together, we are an unstoppable force, weaving our dreams into a tapestry of shared goals and aspirations. Ever since Ronald handed me the reins of his company, my professional life has taken flight. Working independently has opened doors I never imagined. Clients flock to me, seeking the touch of my artistic vision, and I am humbled by the influx of opportunities that come my way. From different corners of the globe, people travel to South Africa, drawn by the chance to have their dreams transformed into architectural marvels by my hands. The sheer joy that fills my heart is palpable when I speak of my work; it radiates from my face, lighting up every room I enter. I have
Ronald's POV. I've been searching for a chef for several months now, and it hasn't been easy. I can't go on with my normal life without worrying about Divine's safety. I need to find the chef as soon as possible before they can reach Divine. She's like family to me, and I can't bear the thought of anything happening to her. I know she won't be pleased when she discovers what I've been doing behind her back. I promised her that I would never lie, but here I am, breaking that promise, doing things I swore not to do. It's not by choice. I have to take these actions to protect her. I hope that one day she'll understand. "Sir, if this person had intentions towards Divine, they would have made a move by now. Don't stress yourself out. Jack is searching for them in the field, and we'll find them and resolve all of this. Just make sure Divine doesn't find out anything about it. It'll keep us on the safe side," KG says, and I agree with him. "Would you like a drink?" I offer, and KG accepts.
For most people, the beginning of a new relationship is magical, filled with romance and excitement. It could be a storybook-worthy meet-cute or a modern-day serendipitous encounter. Regardless, there's a sense of possibility and a glimpse of a promising future. However, amidst all the positive vibes and the honeymoon phase, it's easy to overlook important conversations. In my case, Divine, and Ronald, we didn't discuss what's truly important and what we both want from this relationship. We jumped straight into intimacy without considering the deeper aspects. ... I arrived home to change for my lunch meeting with my long-time friend Tola, only to find my so-called boyfriend, Ronald, unexpectedly at home. This was unusual since he's always busy with work, and I honestly didn't care much for his presence at the moment, as I had plans unrelated to him. "Oh, babe, you're home. How are you?" I greet him with a passionate kiss on his lips. "Mmm, I've missed passionate kisses like that.
Tola and I had agreed to meet at the restaurant, and as I walked towards the table, my mind was filled with a flurry of thoughts. It had been such a long time since we had sat down together and had those carefree conversations we used to have. We would forget about the world, talk about our days after school, share stories about our families, and joke about everything that bothered us. I missed those moments dearly. Tola had left South Africa a few years ago to return home to Nigeria and take care of her sick father. Now she was back, and I was excited to catch up with her and share the news of my children's birth. However, I never expected to see the changes in my friend. She used to be a good girl, someone who followed her mother's guidance, focused on her studies to secure a good job, and never relied on anyone else. But now, it seemed like she was dependent on a wealthy older man, living under his rules, and doing everything he told her to do, well, to some extent. "Hello, Sam. I
Later that day, I decided to bring my best friend Tola to meet my boyfriend Ronald, whom I had been talking about. I thought it would be a good idea to introduce them because Ronald wasn't happy about me going to lunch with Tola. By introducing Tola to Ronald, I hoped he would understand and be less likely to complain when I wanted to spend time with my friends. As we were on our way, I excitedly shared with Tola how I became a successful businesswoman and how I met Ronald. However, Tola seemed bothered by the similarities between my story and her own experience with her previous ex-boyfriend, which she hadn't told me about. "My friend, I've been calling your name several times, but you haven't been responding. Is there something on your mind that I should know about?" I asked Tola, growing concerned. We had been talking for quite some time during the drive, and Tola had been unusually quiet. It seemed like something was bothering her. I wanted to make sure everything was okay. I wa
Ronald…. As I entered the room, my eyes fell on Tola, and a shock wave washed over me. I had seen her before, but I couldn't comprehend why she was in my house. Memories of our shared history flooded my mind, a history I had desperately tried to bury and forget. It was a place I didn't want to revisit for fear that it would reopen old wounds and shatter the fragile peace we had managed to find. Going back there could destroy us both, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing the one person who truly mattered to me, Dee. Tola and I had a complicated past filled with love, betrayal, and heartache. We had once been inseparable, bound together by a deep friendship and an unbreakable connection. But circumstances had driven us apart, leading us down separate paths and leaving us with scars that refused to fade. Seeing Tola sitting there brought back a flood of emotions. It reminded me of the pain we inflicted upon each other, our mistakes, and the consequences we had to face. It was a ti
A sense of unease gnawed at me as I drove to Tola's house. I needed answers. Why had she chosen this moment to reappear in my life? What did she want? What was her hidden agenda? I consider myself perceptive, capable of discerning when something is amiss or someone is trying to deceive me. The intensity of my emotions grew, and my face contorted with anger and determination. I was ready to confront her, to dig deep and unravel the truth. Divine might think she can handle whatever comes her way, but I know the fire she's unknowingly igniting within herself. The repercussions of this encounter will inevitably affect her, and I fear the consequences it may have on our relationship. As we continued our journey in silence, my patience wore thin. I needed Tola to speak up, to explain herself. The tension in the car was palpable, and I could no longer contain my frustration. "Well, let's cut to the chase. Why the hell did you decide to show up now?" I blurted out; my voice tinged with ang
Divine and I were sitting in our spacious living room, snuggled up together, watching movies and enjoying some snacks and wine. But I could sense that something was off with Ronald. Physically, he was right beside me, but mentally, he seemed distant, lost in his own thoughts. It was clear that he was preoccupied with something. I couldn't help but notice the unease in his eyes. We had always been open and honest with each other, so I could tell when he was hiding something. The air felt heavy with unspoken words, and it was starting to affect the atmosphere between us. I knew that whatever was bothering him, it was important for our relationship that he shared it with me. As I rested my head on his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, I knew it was time for him to speak up. I wanted to be his wife, to share a future with him, but that required complete trust and transparency. I couldn't bear the thought of building our marriage on a foundation of secrets. Ronald needed
