🦋 FELIX 🦋

I paced around the station, my men were out searching, the media was also trying their best, but I couldn't help but worry.

“You sure she's going to call?” The police officer asked.

“Kidnapper always calls to name their price,” I responded, assured. “I'm sure she will call soon.”

Just then, my phone began to ring with a private number displaying on the screen.

I signalled the police, “I think she's calling.”

I picked up the call on the second ring. “Hello?” My voice echoed at the other end of the call.

“I see you made a public announcement of who you truly married,” an elderly man's voice rang out, “That was unexpected, for you to risk everything for this brat.”

“Rose, I know it's you,” I blurted out, “I've known you since we were little, I know what you are capable of.”

The other person at the end of the call remained mute for a while and then responded, “Exactly, you have known me for years, so why choose someone you just met a few years ago over me? I loved you.”

🦋 FELIX 🦋Goliath stepped forward, his footsteps echoing through the silent courtroom. His eyes were fixed on the defense table ahead. As he reached the seat, he took a deep breath, his gaze flickering around the courtroom, settling on me, and I smirked, just the way he did when I sat on that chair.“Now,” the judge stated. “Defense attorney, please question the accused.”Nodding, my lawyer stood up and walked towards Goliath, standing in front of him. “The person in the video submitted by Mr. Desmond, was that you?”“I didn't know I was being recorded,” Goliath responded rudely. My lawyer took a step closer to him, “That didn't answer my question. Was that you? I want you to answer with a yes or a no.”“Yes.” Goliath blurted out.“Where were you on the night of the incident?” My lawyer asked, gawking at Goliath.“Home!” Goliath retorted shortly, staring back at my lawyer. My lawyer scoffed and took another step, “Is there anyone who can prove your location?”Goliath paused, “No, I

🦋 FELIX 🦋It's day 12. Benita is still stuck in a life supported by machines, people are still waiting for the news of her survival, and I… I'm still going back and forth, trying to solve a case I know nothing about.Today is the hearing of that case. After trying so hard to prove my innocence, I can only pray and hope it ends in good news.I sat in the courtroom, my lawyer beside me, Scott and Greg behind me to show support, and Goliath at the end of the courtroom with a smirk on his face, a smirk that says, “I'll get rid of you… You will be found guilty.”My heart raced with anticipation and anxiety. The weight of the proceedings hangs heavy in the air as I await the judge's decision. The courtroom was silent, except for the soft rustling of papers and the murmur of the spectators. The prosecutor stood up and faced the judge, “Before the verdict is delivered, I would like to call on Mr. Greg, the ex-secretary and childhood friend of the defendant, for questioning.”“You may procee

🦋 NIKITA 🦋“It's day 5, life in Benita's hospital,” the reporter announced with a yawn. “We are all here, waiting for the doctor's announcement. We have also been monitoring Benita Celestine closely, and a few minutes ago, she took a deep breath. Although we still don't know if it's a breath to life or her last breath, so we have been waiting for doctors to fucking say something, but we are hearing nothing at all.”I hid behind a couch when the doorbell rang. I didn't move an inch, or ask who it was, then it sounded again, louder and intentionally.“Nikita!” Someone screamed my name, someone that sounded like… Greg.“Judas?” I called back. “Judas, is that you?” I asked, almost in tears.Forcefully, he kicked the door open and rushed towards me, “Why aren't you in the hospital?”Tears fell down my face, and I cuddled my trembling body as I murmured, “She killed her, Celestine killed her… she's a killer, a monster, she killed her.”“Hey, hey, hey,” Greg hushed. “Who did she kill?”“Re

🦋 NIKITA 🦋Crying became an anthem and fear became a close friend, I still sat in one corner, fighting a battle between my mental health and physical health. A memory of Reyna being killed by Benita flashed through my mind again, and I buried my head deeper between my laps, trembling. I felt as if I was hit by a tidal wave, my emotions crashing down on me like an unrelenting storm. Tears streamed down my face, hot and bitter, as I wept uncontrollably.Benita became a monster, she killed someone. She killed someone.A murder. The devil. Her hands are dirty, it can never be wiped clean. Those who kill should be killed.Stay away… run.“Benita Celestine collapsed while fighting for the freedom of her ex-husband, Felix Desmond, and was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery, to take out the fucking bullet that’s stuck in her head from their last unfortunate fight with the villain of their uncooked story. Doctors claimed to have already given a warning about her dangerous predic

🦋 FELIX 🦋I stood frozen, my ears perked up, as the sound carried on the wind. Someone was screaming my name, the voice echoing through the distance. My heart skipped a beat as I turned, trying to pinpoint the direction. The voice grew louder, more urgent, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. Then I heard it, loud and clear, “Felix! Felix! Can you hear me? Baby I'm here! I came for you! Let's go home!”My eyes widened, “Benita?” I whispered, still trying to be sure… Did she come for me? Did she remember me now? At first, I thought I was just crazy, or hallucinating. What would she be doing here? Yet this goddamn hallucination felt so real.“Benita!” I screamed banging on the door so hard that even a dead person would come back to life from the effect of my blow on the door.“Fucking let me out!” I screamed again, still banging on the door. “Benita I'm in here!”“Benita!”“Can somebody out there here me? Let me out, I need to go to my wife! I need to stop her before something happe

🦋 NIKITA 🦋 I stood in one position, shivering and staring down at Reyna as her heart struggled to pound and eventually stopped beating. The bullet was shot into most parts of her body, and just thinking about the pain she must have felt gave me chills.I was there, behind them, watching with my hands over my mouth and my eyes wide in horror when Benita shot her, and I just couldn't take that frightening moment out of my mind.It was the first death I witnessed, and it was a horrible one. I was scared, maybe she'd kill me too if she realised I watched her do it.It took a lot of courage on my part. With trembling lips, pale skin, cold hands and a shivering body, I pushed my legs into the mansion, behind the couch and fell to the ground, hiding in that one corner as I hid my head between my laps and cuddled myself.I shouldn't be here when Benita comes back.If she sees me, she'll kill me too. She's a monster. She's not thinking straight, so she could kill.Run, Nikita.Your life is
