Yin Xiaoxiao blushed furiously when she saw Jing Liyuan enter her room. She was about to give him a piece of her mind when he saw that he hadn't budged since he'd entered the room and remained facing the door.

In other words, his back was toward her.

Yin Xiaoxiao hurriedly slipped on the dress, straightened her clothes, then stood beside her bed. Jing Liyuan's back view made her feel flustered. Why did she feel as though she was being unreasonable when he was the one who had caught sight of her in a state of undress?

She heard another knock on the door before she could give this matter further thought.

Jing Liyuan asked softly, "Are you dressed?"

Yin Xiaoxiao's eyes flickered with emotion as she nodded. She added, "I've finished dressing," when she realized that he couldn't see her.

Jing Liyuan only opened the door after he heard her answer. Yin Baifan was outside her door and he froze when he saw Jing Liyuan.

"Dad, Xiaoxiao was weighing herself earlier and shrieked when she realized that she had gained some weight. Were you startled by the sound?" he asked.

Yin Xiaoxiao's jaw dropped when she heard the excuse that Jing Liyuan had fabricated. She weighed only 50 kilograms and was at a height of 1.68 meters. How dare he insinuate that she was fat? He was really terrible for blaming it all on her!

Jing Liyuan delivered this excuse with a straight face. Yin Baifan opened his mouth to speak but he quickly remembered that they were married, so he could only say with a stony look, "I know you're still young but don't go overboard." Then, he turned on his heels and left.

Jing Liyuan's eyes narrowed slightly before he turned to face Yin Xiaoxiao. He stared at her and his silence made her skin crawl with dread. He finally said coolly, "Your figure isn't that great, so you shouldn't allow just anyone to walk into your room."

Yin Xiaoxiao was so annoyed that she nearly threw her handbag at his head. Damn him! He had been the one who had seen her in a state of undress but was acting like he was the one who had been taken advantage of!

Did he just say that her figure wasn't great? And that she shouldn't simply let anyone who knocked enter?

Damn him! This was her home!

How dare he make it seem like she had been out to seduce him!

She was so furious that she stamped her foot in anger before taking a deep breath and following him out of the room. Waves of jealousy washed over Yin Ruoyun when she saw them head downstairs together. She didn't even have enough time to hide the expression on her face, and if it wasn't for Li Meng standing in front of her to cover for her, the sweet-tempered image she had worked on building for years would have crumbled in that instant.

Jing Liyuan led Yin Xiaoxiao to Li Meng and said politely, "Mom, we'll get going now."

Li Meng acknowledged his greeting with a smile. However, her smile didn't reach her eyes because Yin Xiaoxiao's sudden marriage meant that they had nothing to give Manager Zhang. She couldn't possibly marry Ruoyun off to Manager Zhang. Her resentment would have been written all over her face if it wasn't for the fact that she still had to keep up her gentle and virtuous image.

"Try to come back earlier," Li Meng said dully.

Jing Liyuan opened the door for Yin Xiaoxiao like a true gentleman and his meticulous care of her sister made Yin Ruoyun feel extremely upset!

Why? Yin Xiaoxiao's scandalous reputation was displayed all over T City's newspapers, so why was Jing Liyuan still treating her like a queen? Why was Yin Xiaoxiao always so lucky?

How had she managed to land Xiang Chen and Jing Liyuan?
