"Didn't you come here to divorce my sister?" Yin Ruoyun asked with an innocent smile, but Jing Liyuan didn't even look at her. She bit her lips and continued, "Will your family accept my sister? She... doesn't even listen to my parents at times."

Yin Ruoyun's sweet-tempered facade usually had the effect of causing men to want to look after her. Xiang Chen was a classic example of that. She had easily wrapped him around her finger with her tricks but Jing Liyuan was completely unmoved today.

Jing Liyuan looked at Yin Ruoyun and caught the tiniest spark of glee in her eyes. Then, he turned to look at Li Meng, who had emerged from the kitchen with a lot of snacks, clearly preparing to have a long talk with him, and came to a decision.

"Ruoyun, what are you looking at?" Li Meng asked. She was Yin Ruoyun's mother so she naturally knew what her daughter was thinking. She immediately interrupted her daughter's thoughts with a frown and said, "Don't even think about it. All Jing Liyuan has got is his looks and that is nothing compared to the power of the Xiang family. How can a doctor compare to the power and greatness that an entire company can bring? Stop having designs on him or you'll suffer when you lose Xiang Chen!"

Li Meng's words shattered Yin Ruoyun's plan. She stopped herself from looking at Jing Liyuan and tried her best to convince herself that Xiang Chen was a better choice...

Li Meng ignored Yin Ruoyun when she saw that she had successfully knocked that idea out of her head. She had planned to try to draw out more information from Jing Liyuan but she wasn't too fussed even though not everything had gone according to plan. If he wasn't planning to divorce Yin Xiaoxiao after the sensational articles in the news today, this meant that the Jing family was not a very respectable family to begin with...
