Chapter 11

Ariana entered into her cabin, she placed those flowers on the table and parcel and letter inside the drawer. She didn’t care much about those things. She started work on the pending files. Suddenly her eye caught tag tied around the flowers’ stems.

 ‘I miss you angel , I hope you remember white and red roses means’

“ Welcome back my angel” he welcomed her with a dashing smile.

“I missed you lot my teddy” she ran into his arm. He hugged her back tighter.

“I missed you too my angel, how is your tour angel?”

While breaking his hug he led her to the sofa, he sat first and made her sit on his lap. She shoved her face into the crook of his neck and smelled his scent.

“You smell so fresh teddy I wish I could hug you like this for my whole life”

“Who stopped you angel, I am all yours you can hug me to your hearts content.” He too smelled her scent.

“Angel.. Your smell… is making my little brother harder” instantly she closed her face with her palm, she was blushing profusely, he removed her hands to see her flushed cheeks made him even harder.

“Angel I think I need to take shower, you go and sleep in your room I will be back”

 He turned to climb the stairs but his eyes caught the bouquet he bought for her. He picked it,

“Once again welcome back my angel” he gave the bouquet to her.

“ Woah , red, white and yellow roses” she jumped excitedly

“Do you know what that means?” she shook her head as no,

“What does these flowers symbolize?”

“Red and white symbolizes our everlasting love and yellow for welcoming you”

“How come you are so thoughtful and romantic?”

“Huhhh (heavy sigh), how can you say I am romantic when I can’t seduce my girl yet” saying that he decreased the distance between them, he slowly stroked her flushed cheeks.

He pinched her rosy cheeks, he pulled her and claimed her lips its started slow by stroking her lips with his tongue and pecking but when she started to return the kiss it turned into a deep French kiss.

Instantly he carried her to his room by placing her legs either side of his waist. He doesn’t want to put her down even after they reached the bedroom. He pulled back from the kiss when she felt lack of oxygen. But he didn’t break the lip contact with her body, he slowly trailed down from her lips to her neck then he started to suck her soft spot,

“Ahhhh …. Atlas” he felt pleasure by her moans with his name. For the first time he fell in love with his name. Her moans made him go crazier.

“Angel can I touch you?” he kept looking into her eyes for permission

“ Atlas…, I…. am not ready yet”.

He groaned in frustration and hugged her tightly.

“It seems like I will need a cold shower for at least one hour, why are you torturing me my little seductress”

 She blushed profusely, he found her very cute when she was with flushed cheeks he gave a soft kiss on her cheeks and laid her down on the bed.

“You must be tired by traveling, so sleep”.

 When he turns to go inside the bathroom suddenly her hand pulled him to the bed. Before he could crashed on her he supported his body by his hands.

“What do you want my sexy angel” he spoke In a hoarse voice.

 “I want you to lay down with me” he obeyed her and laid down beside her, she climbed on top of him and placed her head on his chest. She could hear his rapid heartbeat.

“You will be my death angel, Mark my words baby the day I touch you, you will be a mess under me by screaming and moaning my name in pleasure, and I will not claim you until you beg me for, this is your punishment for keeping me away for more than two years” she giggled and hugged him tightly soon drifted into sleep.

“Babe are you okay? Love… sweetie are you OK? Please say something love” she regained her senses by Zane’s voice.

 She slowly looked at him “What happened?” he left out a sigh of relief after hearing her voice.

“Oh love, nothing happened you are fine now, come with me” he asked her to go with him but she couldn’t even move her hand, she was extremely fatigued.

When she didn’t even move a bit as a statue, without a second thought he carried her in bridal style to his private room. He laid her on the bed and covered her delicate body with a duvet. He adjusted the air conditioner and switched off the lights,

 “It’s too dark I.. I am scared” suddenly he heard her trembling voice and turned on the light.

 She was trembling and sweating profusely. He immediately took her into his embrace and caressed her back. Within few minutes she dozed off into a deep sleep.

He walked out to his office, he couldn’t focus on his work. He just went inside her cabin and picked the bouquet which she kept staring when she got panic attack.

 He read the tag,

 ‘Could it be her ex-boyfriend who sent this bouquet?’ he took out his mobile and dialed to his Grandpa

“Hello , Hunter?”

“Grandpa , can you tell me what the heck happened in her past? And if you know that person please tell me who is that”

“About the her past,.. Sorry son it’s not my story to tell, about the person His name is ATLAS EVANDER, on that time he was a professor in Ayla’s University. They both were in relationship for two and half years more or less, as per the informations I got from my secret detective he is a gentleman, but he has a dark side which no one knows. what scared her about him is still a mystery for us, only Ayla can answer this question.” After a pause

 “Take care of her, I have a visitor I will call you back later”

“What the fuck did you do to her ATLAS EVANDER?” he mumbled. His heart was not in ease he wanted to meet Blake, so he drove to his company.

“Hey bro, what makes you come here so suddenly?”

“My mind is messed up Blake, help me”

“Are you alright bro, what happened?”

He explained each and everything to Blake. “Why do I feel like hearing a mystery novel story?”

“Don’t kid Blake I don’t know how to handle or even from where to start”

“I will contact Rey”

“I want to know about that man, his name is ATLAS EVANDER he was a professor in her university”

Blake dialed Reynold’s number, Reynold is the head of Blake’s underworld team,

“Rey I want to know each and every detail about a man, his name is ATLAS EVANDER, he Worked as a professor two years ago”

“I will get back to you after collecting the information about him” he said and hung up.

Blake and Zane spend few hours discussing some random things. He left his office when he remembered that he have to drop Ariana. He returned to his office and went straight into his private bedroom. He saw her sitting on the bed in a daze.

“Are you OK babe?

“I have to go home sir”

“OK I will drop you”

She was silent all the way to her house. When she was about to get down he held her wrist, before they talk he asked his driver to leave them alone. After driver left he pulled her into his embrace.

“I won’t let anyone harm you my love, as I said earlier you and your safety is my first priority. I will protect you I will go to hell to save you” he broke the hug and gave a lingering kiss on her forehead.

“Now go up call me once you reached your room I will wait here for your call”

“Sir …”

“Call me Hunter”

“Mr. Zane, what if I couldn’t give you back the love and care you are giving me.”

“You don’t need to, my love is enough for both us, just stay with me for the rest of my life that is enough”

“You deserve better Mr. Zane”

“I don’t need or want anything better than you, now go up and take good rest”

“Can I have a day off?”

“Of course sweetheart” he gave a kiss on her cheeks and let her go. She gave a call after she reached her home. She sat on the sofa, leaned back with closed eyes. Meanwhile her dad returned from work, he thought she might be tired he went near her to sit beside her on the sofa, slowly he caressed her head.

 Ariana felt warmth in his touch she leaned her head on her father’s shoulder, he guessed that she wanted to share something with him,

 “Is there anything you want to tell me my princess”

“Dad, Mr. Zane….. said that…. He… likes me and asked me for a chance to prove himself”

“ What is your opinion about him?”

“when I am around him I feel safe, I can see you within him but when I think about being in a relationship…….. Huh ‘sigh’ help me dad I am confused” he smiled and asked

“You like him, right?” he confirmed it when she remained silent .

“I am sure you like him because this is the first time after three years you are talking about a man’s proposal in a calm state, and even you said you feel safe, every time you used to curse men who proposed to you, only this man got your attention” he said with wide grin.

“I think I do, but…” he sensed her hesitation to fall in love again.

“Not every men are pervert my dear, Give him a chance to prove himself, he didn’t force you to like him, did he?” she shook his head as no.

“ He is asking for a opportunity to prove that he loves you the most, can’t you tell with this behavior that he has a best character?.”

“Hmm … dad… I… I am scared what if I hurt him, what if he regrets after being few years with me , what if he….” He interrupted her words and said,

“Sweetheart there are so many ifs in your mind. Stop over thinking, you will never hurt anyone my child, give a try to live your life by giving him a chance” she nodded and left to her room
