Chapter 1

The sound of the door opening brought her back to her consciousness. She was laid on a comfy bed. She slowly sat down on the bed. She couldn’t move her body faster because she still felt dizzy. She looked around the place which was unfamiliar to her. She got down from the bed and walked to the window which is on her right side. She couldn’t open it. Then she walked to the door which leads to a bathroom. Except for the bathroom door there is no other door so she thought she only can go out through the bathroom but to her surprise there is no way out through the bathroom only a small ventilation window which was grilled with steel. She was confused and scared, she knew she was kidnapped by someone. But who?

She started to shout out of her lungs.

"Is there anyone here?”

" Please talk, I am so scared to be alone”

She kept shouting for like more than twenty minutes. Still she was inside the bathroom. She heard someone’s footsteps. She rushed into the room and was shocked to see the person in front of her. 

“David”

“David, what the heck is this? Why did you kidnap me? Are you pulling some kind of prank?” he didn’t respond but kept staring at her intensively.

“DAVID” she yelled his name out of anger when she didn't get any response.

“Eat this and take some rest, don’t waste your energy because it’s impossible to escape from this place.”

“Did you kidnap me for real? No, you won’t do that. You are a very good friend of ours.”

“I am not anyone’s friend, just be quiet and eat this I will come late”

“No wait, I am scared to be alone”

“You shouldn’t be here if you have kept your distance with that bastard. This is your punishment for being so close to other men. ”

“You mean Zane?”

“He is my b..” he interrupted her. 

“I dare you to complete that, you are mine Ayla don’t forget that”

“How do you know that name?” she stammered out of fear, the way he called her name and anger in his eyes told a different story about the man in front of her.

“Eat and rest” he walked to a wall and touched the wall with his right hand. Slowly the wall moved aside and let him out. She understood that the way out to this place is fully in his control. She can’t escape. She felt numb, she walked to the bed and laid on the bed thinking about where everything started..

She was just playing some past events on her mind but we will dig into the full story and find out what happened exactly. 

8 months ago... 

“Wake up my lazy princess” Evangeline came into Ariana’s room with her favourite Indian tea.

“Mamma please… five minutes,” Ariana spoke in a raspy voice while covering, -in-law so he can look after you then soon I can have a grand -…,” Ariana sat on her bed, instantly leaving her soft comfortable pillow.

“Stop… mamma I said stop. You are so annoying. Never bring that topic, most importantly when waking me up. This topic will ruin my mood the whole day. ,” Eva can tell that Ariana is both hurt and annoyed.

Eva sat near Ariana on her bed and caressed her head. Ariana can see the pain in her mother’s eyes.

 “When will you forget that?” Ariana cutoff Eva’s words and said, “Mamma please don’t bring those bitter memories again. I am getting late. I am hungry and can you please make me a dorayaki pancake” she pouted like a small child. Eva smiled at her daughter’s reaction. The thought of her daughter’s past made her eyes shimmered with tears.

Ariana felt heavy-hearted after her mother remembered those sour memories. She wants to cry, but no tears are coming from her eyes. She wanted to scream but her voice died inside her throat. She cannot let out her feelings but to carry them in her heart.

She came out after half an hour when closing the bathroom door. She tilted her head to glance at the metal clock hanging on the wall.’Oh no, I have only one and a half hours. Ria, you are done' she thought, but soon she got dressed as fast as lightning.

She wore a nude pink top with a keyhole neckline paired with olive green flare pants. She has no time left to groom herself so she picked up her hand mirror, comb, foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeliner and Matt lipstick, which are needed for a basic makeup look. She took her backpack and dumped everything, along with her wallet and her old model phone, with no selfie camera. It’s not that she can’t afford to buy a new one, but she is not interested.

She came to the dining hall cum living room, which is right next to her bedroom. She saw her dad seriously reading the newspaper. She greeted him with a beautiful smile.

 “Good Morning MR. JONAS.” He tilted his head and greeted her with a grin on his face.

 “Good morning my princess”. He watched the time and said with a frown, “You are getting late my dear, you need to hurry.” She nodded her head and ate her breakfast as soon as possible while her mother filled her water bottle and stuffed her medicines in her backpack.

“Honey, don’t forget your medicines,” she said and pecked her forehead and wished her good luck.

Ariana bid bye to their parents and walked to the main road to fetch a taxi. Last night she planned to go by bus but now she has only 45 minutes left for her interview. A taxi stopped, and she hopped in instantly. On the way, she groomed herself to look presentable.

35 minutes later,

Now she is standing in front of a huge tall skyscraper with a name carved as “HUDSON GROUP OF COMPANIES” In black bold capital letters. Small, prickly goosebumps broke out across her arms and stomach, sending a small, cold shiver through her.  

' Am I going to work here oh my god’ she lost in her thoughts, it startled her when a hand touched her shoulder blade.

“Hi” there is beautiful girl in front of her greeting with an adorable smile. She stretched her hand for a handshake. Ariana gladly accepted her hand.

"Hi, I am ARIANA JONAS”, “oh nice to meet you MS. JONAS, I am SELENE DAMON, I am here for an interview and I think you are too, aren’t you?” Ariana nodded with a smile.

 “MS. JONAS we are getting late let’s get in” Ariana agreed with a nod and said “just call me ARIANA” she nodded with a happy smile.

They were waiting for their names to be called an elegant lady in her early 30s entered the lounge and announced,

“Good morning ladies and gentlemen, those who applied for CEO’s personal assistant should attend the interview on the 10th floor. You people should be there in 15 minutes move right now, and the HR department interview is on the 7th floor at 9.45 a.m. You people have one more hour.” Immediately Ariana bid bye to Selene and rushed to the 10th floor.

There were 5 candidates for CEO’s PA position, 2 men and 3 women, including Ariana. She had never heard a single gossip about HUDSON GROUP OF COMPANIES’ CEO except his appearance as stylish, handsome, hot and sexy with a perfect body, but she hasn’t seen his image even once in her life. Right now, she is super hell nervous about her interview. They were waiting for the past two hours but no one was called for an interview. Others were restless about the delay; on contrary, Ariana is composed, calm and shows no nervousness or agitation.

 A lady came towards them and said in a professional tone “Thank you for the patience my ladies and gentlemen, the interview starts now". Interview started, one by one attended the interview. They were excited when going in but coming out with a sad face.

Two boys immediately left after the interview, but those two girls waited for something to know. Based on their closeness, Ariana could say they both were best friends, finally her name called at last,

 “Ms. Ariana, please come in”.

 She nodded and followed the lady. She entered the cabin after knocking on the door.

“May I come in sir?."

   She saw a man in his early 30s sitting on the swivel chair. He has black hair, gold-rimmed glass around a pair of his almond eyes, Sharpe nose and thin lips. Anyone could be easily attracted to him, but not Ariana.

He is Carl black General manager of the company. When he saw Ariana, her beauty mesmerised him. His words died inside his throat, his lips, Tongue and throat dried because of the heat emitting inside his body. After, few minutes he finally realised it was too quiet. Once again, he looked at her face only to find those grey eyes staring back at him with slightly knitted eyebrows.

 ‘Oh god I got caught’ , he thought to himself. He steadied his body and cleared his throat, pointing to one of the chairs in front of his desk and said, “Please take your seat”. She sat in a chair opposite to his, not before thanking him.

“May I know your name?”

“Ariana.. Ariana Jonas, sir” her voice is like a soothing music to his ears.

“Tell me about yourself Ms. Jonas” he asked her while going through her resume. ‘She was the top student in her university.’ He smiled inwardly at the thought of how good her final exam marks were. ‘She is just 22 years old’.
