It's over

It was 9PM.

Elliot had left the house after receiving a call from a business partner.

Norah smirked while looking at Sky as if telling her 'I told you'

Sky didn't know what to do next so she stood up from the table.

"Dear, you haven't eaten well, sit down and finish your food first", Emily said in concern.

Sky couldn't refuse her aunt so she sat down and ate her meal.

She left the table once she was done eating.

"I'm going out for a while", Sky said and left hurriedly not even giving a chance to her aunt to stop her.

"Hurry up and take me to the new house of Elliot", Sky asked Elliot's driver.

"Shouldn't you go there with Master Elliot?", the driver asked cautiously.

"Take me there right now", Sky said in a harsh tone.

The driver was frightened as he has never seen her so angry and so anxious.

They arrived at the new place within 30 minutes.

Sky told the driver to wait for her as she left the car.

She was stunned when she saw the door opened and a woman coming out.

"Elliot must have hired you to clean the place", the woman said with a smile.

"Go and clean the place before someone comes", she said and left calmly.

Sky couldn't move for a while. She took a deep breath and entered the house.

Elliot's clothes were spread everywhere on the floor.

Sky's heart beat quickened. She silently prayed for it to be a nightmare.

She entered the bedroom and saw Elliot sleeping soundly on the bed. He had a blanket on him but she could guess he wasn't wearing anything.

She glanced at the surroundings.

There was a bottle of vine with 2 glasses placed on the table.

She picked up one of the glasses and saw the red stain of lipstick on it.

She went near and picked up Elliot's shirt from the ground. Sure enough, there were lipstick's stains all over his shirt.

Sky couldn't hold it anymore and fell to the ground.

"How could he do this to me?", she asked to herself.

She could hear the sound of her heart shattering into millions of pieces.

She felt suffocated.

"This can't be true", tears streaming down her cheeks.

She tried to stand up but fell again.

She forgot that her legs haven't fully recovered yet.

She tried multiple times but couldn't gather the energy to stand up on her own.

Her legs were numb.

No, it was her heart that was numb by the pain.

She took deep breaths looking at the person on the bed whom she had once loved with all her heart.

"I hate you Elliot Frost", she screamed.

"I hate you so much", she cried at the top of her lungs and finally stood up.

Elliot was in a deep slumber when he heard someone's scream.

"Is it Sky?", he thought to himself.

He couldn't even open his eyes.

Sky looked at him for the last time and left the house.

The driver was panicked when he saw Sky's shattered state.

"Take me home", she said coldly.

"Home?", she laughed.

"Take me to the Frost mansion", she said looking outside the window.

The driver started the car and hurriedly took her to the Frost Mansion.

Sky went directly to her room and started packing her things in a suitcase.

"Tich tich", Norah entered her room with a smirk.

"Seems like the fairytale ended even before it started", she pricked Sky's heart with her words.

"Get out of my room", Sky said trying to control her tears.

"Your room?", Norah laughed.

"I guess you have forgotten the fact that you're just a pathetic homeless orphan", Norah said mercilessly.

"If not for my Aunt, you would have ended up in a slum", she walked towards her.

"It's better for you to never appear infront of my Aunt and Elliot", Norah said with viciousness.

"Take your stuff and get out of this house", she said coldly and left the room.

Sky felt nothing but numbness at this point.

She didn't know what caused this numbness. Elliot's treachery or having no place to call home.

She took her luggage and came out of the Frost Mansion.

She looked at the magnificent mansion for the last time before turning away.

"What's the use of such a big house if it couldn't even become a home for a poor orphan", she felt pangs of pain in her heart.

She has no where to go.

Suddenly she remembered Lily.

"Maybe I can ask her for help", she thought to herself and stopped a cab.

It took her 15 minutes to arrive at Lily's place.

Lily was stunned seeing Sky in such a miserable state.

"Lily you have to promise me, no matter what, you'll never disclose my location to Elliot or his family", Sky said coldly.

"I won't", Lily said.

"You are my bestfriend. Of course I'll do whatever you'll say", she hugged her.

"Now tell me what happened?", She asked while holding her cold hands.

Sky told her everything.

"I can't believe it. How could he do this to you", even Lily felt bad for Sky.

"I can't live with him anymore. It's over. I'm leaving today", Sky said firmly.

"Where are you planning to go?", Lily asked anxiously.

"You can stay with me", she urged her to stay.

"I have received an email today about that scholarship you once told me", Sky said.

"They have selected me, I'll go to the airport from here", Sky told her plan.

"Are you sure about it?", Lily asked with concern.

"Yes, I am sure", Sky said with affirmation.

"What if Elliot comes to me and ask about you?", Lily panicked just by thinking about it.

"Tell him thanks for everything he and his family did for me, I will surely repay all their kindness one day", Sky said and stood up.

"I need to leave in order to catch the flight", she said and hugged Lily tightly.

"Stay in touch with me and tell me whenever you need anything", Lily reminded her.

"Sure I will", Sky was feeling touched.

She said goodbye to Lily and left for the airport.

"Lets see where will life take me now", she sighed slowly.
