After they were done picking them, she turned to look at the basket he held with a smile. Seeing the number of fruit made her feel proud. It had been long since she surrounded herself with nature or even did something this fun. She had always been a lover of nature, and that was why she liked taking a stroll outside the mansion most nights.

“I'm sure Mr. And Mrs. Evans would be glad when they see how many fruits we were able to get,” she muttered as her eyes sparkled brightly. She lifted her gaze to look at her husband when he stayed mute.

“What's wrong?” She asked, but the moment her eyes met with his, she subconsciously held her breath. Was it the fact that he looked extremely handsome from up close, or the fact that he had that intense gaze in his eyes again?
