First Mistake

Derinem sat back on the chair, staring at the man in front of him on the other side of the desk, still surprised to see him there.

Silence prevailed in the office, with his two bouncers standing at the door. Derinem knew he was taking a risk by being there, but what if he took a chance? The goal was for him and Maya to leave the hidden house alive.
