Where is Maya?

Derinem stared at the scene with two of his men, watching the tattered bushes that seemed odd because of the part where Luca had been found, bleeding from his head and shoulders.

His heart tightened as his heartbeat increased. Who would have done this? Shot Luca and kidnapped Maya. It wasn't just any kidnap game, for there has not been any call whatsoever. And the men have not left a single piece of evidence that would point them out.

He had always felt this could end like this, but how could he have known it could?
