After my speech, Ella and her mother disappeared from the crowds, throwing themselves out before I would ask the security to do so.

Jacob was reluctant to leave, obviously still wanting to question me about my child, but he was their puppet now and wherever they went, he followed.

The guests took their time to look around the place, it was bigger and better than my founding company in London, as it was meant to be.

A lot of people walked over towards me, apologizing for not standing up for me earlier. I could only smile and tell them it was alright.

They made it too obvious that they were only after what would benefit them. Well, so was I.

Fabian walked over towards me, his seductive lips curving into a smile. "You handled that too well."

I arched my brow. "What?"

"You made them kick themselves out. It was really smart of you." There was a gentle smile on his lips.

He had the kind of smile that intoxicated you and made you smile as well even if you were once angry. Like he was

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Billions of dollars!

I could barely get any sleep all through the night after what Jessica said to me. I didn't know she felt that way about me! All this while, I thought she saw me as no more than a burden and I was so consumed by that thought that I kept trying to drive her away, not knowing what she was actually feeling. She slept in my room last night and I decided to stay at home with her and Gemma today as well. She had taken a leave of absence from work and placed her manager in charge until she would deliver. She didn't want to sit around and do nothing, but her fiance's family had insisted she did nothing stressful. Not even work. They admired her so much because she was an independent woman and she wouldn't depend on Rowan to carry all the bills. Not that their son was incompetent, but she wouldn't be a blood sucking leech. I decided to take my mind off things by making lunch. Jessica and Gemma were together with the homeschool teacher. I chopped up some fruits to make a snack for them whil

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Extra thirty million

THIRD POV Ella suddenly found herself feeling a little jittery. Such money would definitely call for something even bigger than sex. She told herself that whatever it was, it definitely would not be new to her. She smiled. "What do you want me to do?" Her brow arched. He let out a loud laugh and waved over the bartender. "Give us three of your best whiskeys. Whiskey is good for you right?" He asked Ella and she nodded her head. She wasn't sure she wanted to taste any more alcohol that night but she already accepted the money and she had no choice. So she could do nothing but simply nod. The bartender didn't waste any time before bringing back the bottles. She didn't know much about alcohol but she knew that those three bottles were worth millions. "Why don't you pour me a glass?" He asked her with a smug smirk on his face. "Which one?" She asked him. "A random bottle, I can drink any one." He responded. She rose from his lap and went to pour him a glass. Handing it to him, b

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   To play with you

THIRD POV Ella was home alone, another boring day turned to night under the roof of Jacob's house. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want to meet with her mother or any fake friends. Her mind kept trailing back to the words Blaire had said to her. She wondered if Blaire had truly met her dad, she asked herself what she talked about, did they mention her name? She couldn't get all those questions out of her head. She kept guessing what had actually gone down between them, what could Blaire have said to her dad? She groaned and rose to her feet. "Stay the fuck out of my head, Blaire!" She spat out in anger. "Maybe I should just go out, maybe to a club or something. Just... Anything to get my mind off this terrible and vile woman that keeps trying to crawl back into my mind."Going to her walk-in wardrobe, she fished out her sexiest dress and put it on. It exposed almost every part of her body but that was her point. She stared at her body through the mirror and smiled, please

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   A life without you

Dad tapped me gently and I blinked, his touch pulling me out of my thoughts. "Are you there? You zoned out for a while.""Oh uhm, yes. I was just... Thinking about something. So what about you, how do you already have a grandchild that isn't from me?" I arched my brow as I asked him. He smiled softly and rubbed his hands on his thighs. "Well... After I left, I was so heartbroken and also broke literally. I didn't have a single dime. I couldn't even invest in any business anymore. I knew I had to start over. "I lived on the streets and did so many dirty jobs to feed myself a meal in a day. It went on like that for a year until I had enough to rent a place. I got a white collared job thanks to my qualification. Plus I was young. During my internship, I got close to the daughter of the woman who sold fast foods close to work. They made deliveries too and she always brought things to my doorstep even when I didn't order. "I still felt guilty about your mother because I truly loved her,

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Why did you leave?

The rest of the day went by peacefully, dad had told me about his new family and how he would love to introduce me to them very soon. He spoke about his new job as a gym instructor in a gym he owned. He had done a few white collared jobs over the years with enticing payment but he realized it just wasn't for him. Not that he was bad at his job, in fact, he thrived so well and was promoted to the position of the managing director in his last job. But he just didn't feel like such a job was his calling. Three years ago, he got into the gym business and it had been thriving ever since! I was proud of my dad. My step dad as well. He was the general manager of the company he worked at. It was a car dealing company but they also offered services as well. They were both thriving in what they did which put my mind at ease. My step dad eventually went to join Fabian to play with Gemma and I was left alone with my dad. We didn't make any conversation at first and simply watched them as th

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   I'm sorry my little girl

I couldn't believe that my dad had purchased it from my store. His next words took me by surprise. "Notice anything else?" He spread his hands wide apart and gave me a little spin to show me everything on his body. I scoffed a laugh in utmost surprise. Staring at him fully, I noticed that his wristwatch, necklace and chained bracelet and even shoes were all from my collection. "Oh my goodness…!" I was speechless. He chuckled softly and happily. "Even my face wash and soap and lotion, everything! They are all from Gemma's collection cosmetics." I felt fresh tears well up in my eyes. My dad had been with me all this while without me knowing. I couldn't help but to pull him into my arms and hug him again. ***We all sat down at the table and enjoyed all the luxurious meals the restaurant had to offer us. It was a nine course meal. I thought I hated my dad, I thought I would curse at his face when I saw him, I thought I would walk out after telling him I no longer needed him in my
