Three years later~

"Mummy, I want to stay here." She whined, pouting her small red lips. Her deep blue eyes shimmered with rising tears and her head bowed in sadness.

I sighed, looking down at the little girl next to me. Crouching down to meet her gaze, I cupped her chubby cheeks in my hands and smiled. "Honey, I know and I understand how you feel."

Yet another sigh drew from my mouth as my eyes looked over our mansion. Looking back at her, I reached for her tiny hands and held them in mine. "Honestly I feel the same way too, I don't want to leave."

Returning to New York after three years made me feel so anxious. My heart tightened whenever I thought about it but I just had to do it for the sake of business.

My past, my fears, everything was still there, waiting for me.

"Then let's stay!" She insisted, staring pleadingly into my eyes.

"My princess, we have to go. You know I already told you that mummy has work to do there but I promise you this, it won't take long at all. We'll be back before you even know it. Trust me."

She nodded her head, reluctantly though, finally giving in. We had had this conversation so many times that I could not remember the number. I pulled her into my arms and hugged her.

Bringing myself to my feet, I held out my hand for her. "Come on, we have a flight to catch."

She wrapped her small hands around my fingers. We walked over to my car and I strapped her in her baby seat.

"We need to get to the airport quickly." I ordered my driver, fastening my own seatbelt.

He nodded his head in response and put the car in ignition.

The screen of my phone lit up with a call and a smile spread across my face as I saw the name. "Hey Jessy,"

"Girl! I am so sorry I couldn't see you off to the airport. I know you must be feeling so anxious right now but you have nothing to worry about! Oh I am so excited! I have only read about comebacks like this in novels!" She squealed.

I couldn't hold back a chuckle. "Calm down and breathe Jessy, besides, this isn't a comeback, it's just... Business."

"Business? Pff! Oh please! It is a comeback alright! You are returning to the city you escaped from as a big shot stylist! Your designs rule the world! Do you not know that?"

I rolled my eyes. "You are too much."

She broke out in a chuckle. "By the way... I just want you to be careful, our past always sneaks up on us when we least expect it."

My eyes turned to look at Gemma, my daughter, she had her eyes on the screen of her tab. I had always lived with a fragment of my past, it never left me, but she was the only thing that kept me going, that made me struggle and helped me reach where I was today.

"I'll be fine."

***

The hall was lit up with beautiful fluorescent lights, servers dressed nearly in white and black swayed around with trays in their hands. Everything was just to perfection, the way I had wanted it to be.

New York was decided to host my flagship store even though I wanted to avoid returning here. But since it could not be helped, I would make it into the best it could be.

I had never felt prettier, a white shimmering dress hugged my curves tightly, barely holding on to my shoulders. The bust revealed just about enough skin and the slit on the right side, reaching all the way to my thigh, made it easier to walk.

My brunette hair, always trapped in a bun, was finally free to fall over my shoulders and I adorned my face with just about enough make up. It was my night and I planned to own it.

Diamonds had always interested me, no other reason for having a diamond purse, jewelry and shoes.

No one knew who I was, though I got a few stares from other guests, but they all assumed I was just another flamboyantly dressed guest.

I decided to get some fresh air before the main event would begin, but the sound of a familiar voice kept me hooked to the spot.

Turning my head to the side, there she was, none other than Ella, dressed flamboyantly in a body hugging dress. Then our eyes met.

She stood frozen for a few seconds, eyes widened like she had just seen a ghost. But a smile relaxed her face as she walked towards me. "Well who do we have here? What the hell do you think you are doing here? Dressed like that..." Her eyes assessed my body. "Where did you even get such clothes? Did you steal them to pretend like you fit in here?

"A security guard obviously needs to be fired for letting such a filthy thing inside here." She raised her voice, calling the attention of the other guests.

I felt my chest tighten in anger but I refused to give her the satisfaction of a reaction. Especially not now that the crowd had silenced down.

"Not so good to see you too, Ella." I responded, a calm smile resting on my face.

She scoffed. "Three fucking years! You disappeared like dust and now you crawl back here? What? Do you need money? Are you here to beg?"

I stared at her in silence, holding back myself.

She felt so belittled and pissed off by my silence, especially since I had a smile on my face. She scoffed a laugh. "I always knew you were a filthy thing. A used product thinking she can make herself look pretty again, you're nothing but a useless ex wife!"

Murmurs of people filled my ears, some snickered while some laughed.

I stood there, refusing to let her get the best of me. But then a voice boomed from behind the crowd, making us all turn our heads. "What exactly is going on here?!"

THIRD POV Ella dressed up and went to the address given to her by Damian. It was his house but it was a castle to her. Not as big as Blaire's house though. She stared in awe at every single thing she came across. How come Jacob was not this wealthy? "He is, he is just stingy." Damian said, answering the question she asked in her head. "Hmph?" She asked. "Jacob is probably not as wealthy as me, he depends on grandpa's money while I work for my own. But he is very rich and can afford to buy a house three times the cost of where you currently live without even feeling the money leave his account." He explained. Ella's eyes widened. "What?! How sure are you of this? Why would he hide his money from me then? You must be mistaken!" Damian smiled, knowing well that she believed every single word he had said. He continued, filling her lungs with the vile and disgusting taste of truth. "Do you ever wonder why the two of you are not married?" He asked her. "Because I haven't had a chil

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   What she had gotten herself into

THIRD POV Days had passed since Damian promised to find the man that had posted her video online and she was still yet to get a response from him. Her anxiety had drained along with every other emotion inside her. She laid on her bed, yet another lonely night under the roof of her fiance's house. She leisurely scrolled through her phone for anything to help lighten her mood. She didn't want to go to the club again, the fear of being manipulated yet again kept her bound to the walls of her house. "What the...?" She was startled by the picture she came across. The first thing that made her click on the image was the fact that Blaire was celebrating a successful sale and she knew that stores only did that if the sale was huge. She decided to check the image to judge the amount her half sister would have made based on the looks of the person but then she stumbled upon something shocking. The mouse she had been relentlessly chasing was sitting in the palm of her hands. "That bloody

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Owe me your life

THIRD POV Ella was scrolling through her phone, soaking up in her bath tub. The memories of what had happened the night before was beyond her grasp but she didn't seem to mind any longer. She let out a laugh at the video of a dog playing. Another video came along and she skipped it. It was a disturbing content. But something made her scroll back to the video, maybe the fact that the sight of it brought back a fragment of what had happened the night before. She clicked the video and watched it. The face of the woman was blurred but it didn't take long for her to realize she was the one. The man hidden behind the camera was laughing hauntingly while playing with her nipples and exposed breasts. What made her even more shocked was the sound of her own laughter. The entire video was about an hour plus long and she didn't even want to think about the things he did to her body. Playing with her clit with his dick but never thrusting in. Fucking her mouth and coming all over her face.

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Billions of dollars!

I could barely get any sleep all through the night after what Jessica said to me. I didn't know she felt that way about me! All this while, I thought she saw me as no more than a burden and I was so consumed by that thought that I kept trying to drive her away, not knowing what she was actually feeling. She slept in my room last night and I decided to stay at home with her and Gemma today as well. She had taken a leave of absence from work and placed her manager in charge until she would deliver. She didn't want to sit around and do nothing, but her fiance's family had insisted she did nothing stressful. Not even work. They admired her so much because she was an independent woman and she wouldn't depend on Rowan to carry all the bills. Not that their son was incompetent, but she wouldn't be a blood sucking leech. I decided to take my mind off things by making lunch. Jessica and Gemma were together with the homeschool teacher. I chopped up some fruits to make a snack for them whil

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   Extra thirty million

THIRD POV Ella suddenly found herself feeling a little jittery. Such money would definitely call for something even bigger than sex. She told herself that whatever it was, it definitely would not be new to her. She smiled. "What do you want me to do?" Her brow arched. He let out a loud laugh and waved over the bartender. "Give us three of your best whiskeys. Whiskey is good for you right?" He asked Ella and she nodded her head. She wasn't sure she wanted to taste any more alcohol that night but she already accepted the money and she had no choice. So she could do nothing but simply nod. The bartender didn't waste any time before bringing back the bottles. She didn't know much about alcohol but she knew that those three bottles were worth millions. "Why don't you pour me a glass?" He asked her with a smug smirk on his face. "Which one?" She asked him. "A random bottle, I can drink any one." He responded. She rose from his lap and went to pour him a glass. Handing it to him, b

  • Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!   To play with you

THIRD POV Ella was home alone, another boring day turned to night under the roof of Jacob's house. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want to meet with her mother or any fake friends. Her mind kept trailing back to the words Blaire had said to her. She wondered if Blaire had truly met her dad, she asked herself what she talked about, did they mention her name? She couldn't get all those questions out of her head. She kept guessing what had actually gone down between them, what could Blaire have said to her dad? She groaned and rose to her feet. "Stay the fuck out of my head, Blaire!" She spat out in anger. "Maybe I should just go out, maybe to a club or something. Just... Anything to get my mind off this terrible and vile woman that keeps trying to crawl back into my mind."Going to her walk-in wardrobe, she fished out her sexiest dress and put it on. It exposed almost every part of her body but that was her point. She stared at her body through the mirror and smiled, please
