Victory Party

"WHERE were you? I thought you had left me."

Oh, shit. I thought I had a heart attack when she popped out in front of me. I held my chest and let out a deep breath. I totally forgot that she was here with me.

"Of course not," I said while looking around, still bothered by the fact that her brother is here.

"I already found the books--"

"I think we should go."

I immediately cut her off when I saw Leon. He is looking down on the books he's holding but he is walking towards our way. I grabbed Lea's hand without hesitation and dragged her outside.

It will cause a commotion if he sees us together. I don't wanna fight him, I mean-- not in the library. I am still curious though, about that 'someone'. And the author of the book he borrowed sounds familiar. It came from the fiction section, so it must be something too. . .
