PART TWO: CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

When Zoey left her room after ensuring her hand was bandaged despite it not hurting, Zaramanni got to know that sleep would not come to her.

So, she got off her bed and sneaked past Clarissa who turned her back to her to prepare some heated water.

Clarissa was highly apologetic toward Zara when she found out what her mate, rather, ex-mate did.

The woman almost ended up in tears when she saw Zara’s reddened palm. While she said Andrea deserved more than a thousand slaps, she thanked Zara for helping her and she apologized for dragging the girl into her mess.

Of course, Zaramanni found the apologies unnecessary.

All she did was deal with a man-wolf who had no regard for the person he shared a bond with. It was no big deal.

As Zara gently closed the doors of her room, she wondered where she could go. At first, she contemplated walking to the garden where she and Zoey almost had an intense moment, but she soon changed her mind, and without much thought, she began to walk.
