I sat outside the principles office as I waited for my parents to show up. Kendra sat silently beside me. Her friends sitting opposite us. It surprised me that she hadn't gone with them, she chose to sit with me although we just met not even an hour ago. The boy I punched held an ice pack to his swelling eye.
