The hunt begins

As Helena continued driving, she couldn't help but think about the encounter with the werewolf pack. She knew that she had to stay focused on her mission, but the encounter had shaken her up. She needed to find a place to stay and regroup before she could continue her hunt for Drake.

She took out her phone and started searching for a cheap motel in the area. After a few minutes of scrolling, she found one that looked promising. It was a rundown place on the outskirts of town, but it was close to where she believed Drake was hiding.

Helena pulled into the motel's parking lot, which was littered with old cars and broken-down trucks. She parked her pickup truck and got out, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves.

As she walked into the lobby, she was hit by the musty smell of old carpet and cigarette smoke. The man behind the counter looked up at her and raised an eyebrow.

"Can I help you?" he asked gruffly.

"I need a room," Helena said, trying to ignore the man's unfriendly tone.

The man slid a key across the counter towards her. "Room 13," he said. "Pay upfront."

Helena handed him some cash and took the key, then made her way to the room. As she opened the door, she was hit by another wave of musty air. The room was small and dingy, with yellowed walls and a stained carpet. But it had a bed, a bathroom, and a lock on the door, and that was all Helena needed.

She set her bag down on the bed and took out her weapons, making sure they were all in working order. Then she sat down on the bed and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to center herself.

The hunt for Drake was far from over, but for now, Helena knew that she needed to rest and gather her strength. She had come too far to give up now, and she was determined to see the mission through to the end.

The next morning, Helena woke up early and got to work. She had a long day ahead of her, and she needed to make the most of every minute.

She sat at the small desk in her motel room and pulled out her laptop. She began to research the rumors of Drake's presence in the city, trying to find any leads that could help her track him down.

As she dug deeper, Helena found that there were several sightings of vampires in the area over the past few weeks. Some claimed to have seen a tall, dark-haired man with piercing blue eyes, while others described a more shadowy figure lurking in the alleys.

Helena knew that she needed more information to confirm if any of these sightings were related to Drake. She reached out to some of her contacts in the area, asking if they had heard anything about the elusive vampire.

After a few hours of searching, she finally got a lead. A bartender at a local dive bar had overheard some vampires talking about a sighting of a master vampire. They said that he had been seen near the abandoned factory on the outskirts of town.

Helena immediately packed up her gear and headed out to investigate. She knew that this could be her chance to finally confront Drake and put an end to his reign of terror.
