Time Passes

"That's not going to work." Sebastian smirked. "The handcuffs are infused with magic and can't be broken. They didn't hold that feral vampire, but they will hold you."

Helena stared at him defiantly, refusing to give in. Sebastian laughed as he watched her struggle.

"Don't worry," he said, leaning close enough to her for her to smell the foulness of his breath. "I'm sure that we will come up with some kind of arrangement." Helena glared at him, refusing to let him cow her. Suddenly, she felt her body go limp and she lost consciousness.

Over the next several days, Helena was held captive in the small cell, beaten and raped repeatedly by Sebastian whenever he chose to visit her. Each night, she would try again and again to find a way out of the cell and fight back against him, but each time, she went limp and slipped into unconsciousness.
