XVIII - What if he was a CEO?

<<"I think we're already dizzy enough, we shouldn't keep drinking. We won't remember anything later," Kari complained, as she was leaning on the table.

There were glasses of alcoholic drinks and cocktails everywhere, as the unknown men had bought us the drinks after the voluntary dance I did; an annoying voice in my head told me that it was wrong what I had done, but the person who was at that moment disconnected from herself, enjoyed it.

It was different than anything I had ever done in my life; I was not a woman who was a fan of parties, bars, or craziness. My last party before my engagement had been my birthday and I went to sleep early.

I felt I had to follow the rules to be an exemplary and good person, to others and to myself.

But I couldn't deny that at some point I wanted to just run away, forget who I was and start from scratch. I needed a really big change in my life.
