Finally after a tearful goodbye from mom and grandma and well wishes from dad and grandpa and lots of
"Don't forget to call us and make sure you stay safe"
we were finally on the plane and on our way.
Me and Acre sat together eager to get there as fast as possible while queen Lanna curled up across from us and went straight to sleep
"Did you see how much luggage she had?", Antony said nodding his head towards Lanna, when I didn't say anything he continued
"You would think this was a holiday, honestly does she think we're gonna be lounging around and taking in the sights?"
I laugh picturing Lanna strolling around London in sandals and a sundress with a camera slung around her neck.
After a very uneventful journey, we finally land and head towards the exitof Gatwick airport, Once outside I look at Acre and say
"Now what?"
only for Lanna to tut and shove past me and go up to a taxi, then with the cab driver she starts loading the luggage which was mostly hers anyway.
Once we are settled in the cab the driver turns to us and says
"Where too?"
We were lucky enough that Lanna smiled and replied
"The Royal horse guards hotel on white hall court, do you know it?"
saving both me and Acre because both of us were obviously too stupid to think about what we would do once we got here.
"Yeah Mrs I know it, you just relax, ill get ya there"
"Thank you".
Lanna had her nose pressed against the window taking in the sights for the whole journey
"Oh look, Big ben"
Me and Acre were eager to start finding our mates so wasn't really interested in the sights so just nodded along everytime Lanna would point out a famous land mark.
Once there Lanna checked us in and we all headed up to the penthouse, we thought we would be getting separate rooms but Lanna informed us that dad insisted we stick together so that meant sharing a living space together which was a bit of a drag having to share with a batty old hag but with a bit of luck she would piss off sight seeing so me and Acre could get on with finding our mates.
Once we were settled into our rooms, me and Acre were ready to start our search
"ok" Acre said to me "So what first?"
"Dinner, then a nice early night" Lannas voice came from behind me making me whip around
"What?"
"Mmmmm yes I think ill have fish and chips, its the national dish here you know"
"What we want to start searching" Acre demanded
"No too dark" Lanna replied in her annoying calm voice, she didn't seem to care how frustrated we were getting with her,
"B ut, we need to find our mates" I spat
"Calm down, bothof you, its too dark and we all need food and sleep, then we will start fresh in the morning"
"FINE" both me and Acre huff slumping our shoulders at the same time
"Good, now what do you want to eat, then we can watch a movie before bed, I vote Love actually, such a lovely film" Lanna said making us groan and roll our eyes.
At 7:30 am I was up, showered and dresses, I wanted to be on my way as quickly as possible, I wasn't surprised when I found Acre already in the kitchen making two bowls of cerial, he handed one to me "Thanks, is Lanna up yet?" "No" "Should we wake her?" "And have her getting in our way all day, no let's not bother, I say we quickly eat and sneak out before she wakes up" I nod "good plan". S we scoffed our food as quickly as we could, grabbed our jackets and headed for the door, "No no no, I haven't had breakfast yet" a voice behind us said making us both jump "Errr we were, we were just errr" "Sneaking out yes I know, I need breakfast first, then we can go" Lanna said standing there in jeans and a hoodie looking very hip and very out of place "I have a London map, you boys look it over while I get my breakfast," she said handing Acre the map. With the map laid out flat on the tabl
"Whatever happens don't use your elements" "What?" We both look at Lanna as though she's lost her mind "Just do as I say, your dad doesn't want anyone knowing what you can do" I look around and can't see any way for us to get out of this situation, by this time the rogues have all started moving forward, "I don't think there's any way for us to get out of this" I whisper, Acre looks at me before whispering back "Were gonna have to fight" "Hmmm yes but don't transform" "What so we cant use the elements or transform?" Acre spat Lanna rolled her eyes "just follow my lead" "Follow you're... are you joking?" I start to say but its too late, Lanna has already gone up to the lead rogue, all we can do now is watch, "Hello young man, Im Lanna? "Seriously old lady I don't care" "Hmm, your very rude," Lanna says making my eyes bug out if my head "Oh great, she plans to
Once back at the hotel Lanna heads straight for the shower while Acre and I go to the kitchen to make some coffee and sandwiches. "Well who knew," Acre says chuckling. "Yeah I know, we seem to have our very own Bruce Lee". "Or Kun fu panda". We are both laughing as Lanna comes into the kitchen looking fresh and clean wearing a tracksuit. "I know you are both laughing at me". "What no were not" Acre splutters. Lanna raises her eyebrows. "Ok ok we are but seriously that was some badass shit you did back there and you don't exactly look err..." I start to say without knowing how to finish the sentence but Lanna steps in. "Well looks can be deceiving". "So we noticed, where did you learn that stuff?" Acre asks. "My parents put me through classes when I was a child". "Well we are glad, thank you," I say and Lanna smiles and gives me a wink. "Yeah I don't think your queen Lanna anymore,
After a restful nap, we got ready, called a cab and ended up having a fantastic meal, Lanna had decided to use her walking stick all of the time, as she said "On the outside, I'm a little old lady but with enemies around its good to have a weapon", So after our meal we took a stroll to M and M world where Lanna turned into a child, I swear the gleeful look on her face and the way she jumped up and down clapping her hands had me and Acre laughing so hard people had started to stare but Lanna didn't care she just ran around like a five years old. After what felt like forever we were finally on our way, I kept trying to sniff the air to see if I could pick up the mate scent but I couldn't pick anything up so we enjoyed an evening stroll eating M and Ms from the big bag Lanna had bought. We decided it would be easier if we got the tube to the Embankment so headed to Leicester Square station, as we were walking Acre mind linked "Do you get the feel
"No dad, I'm fine, stop worrying, yeah I know you said we should stick together" I thought talking to my dad would help but so far all he has done is worry and yell, I roll my eyes at Acre and Lanna and try again "Dad, come on look we are fine but what do you think I should do?" "Stay away from them son you don't know who they are, look just forget the whole thing and come home" "WHAT? no way, we need to find our mates" Acre had started pacing the room clearly agitated at the thought of being made to go home "Ok look, dad, we've had a long day, ill call you tomorrow and we can talk more", "Ok, you're not going to meet with this chap though are you?" "No dad, we will keep looking for our mates" "ok son, stay safe, goodnight," After I hang up the phone I go to get myself a glass of water and take five minutes before Acre and Lanna start badgering me. I had filled them in on everything that
We get to Trafalgar Square at 1.45 pm and sit beside the fountain waiting, Acre is on edge pacing while I sit relaxed but alert scanning the crowd but Lanna seems to have mastered the art of blending in the best making me wonder if she is acting or is actually that fascinated with the sights "Just look at thoughs huge lions Ocean," she says snapping more pictures with a look of pure glee on her face "Do you think I could sit on one of the lions like thoughs people, so you can get my picture?" "Hahahha Lanna, you do remember why we're here don't you?" Acre asked laughing "Well yes of course but look, it's London guys, it's so exciting" she replies jumping up and down clapping her hands. "So are you enjoying the sights?" a voice asks beside me making me jump "Calm down," he said as I spin to grab his throat and he knocks my hand away "How did you do that?" "Ahhh I can mask my scent, it's a talent I've had since I was a ch
"So tell me, what do these girls look like?" Gregory asked with a glint in his eye, we were all sitting in his study, "They both have brown hair, medium build" Acre started to say but I held up my hand to stop him before looking directly at Gregory "You already know who the girls are so why don't you stop playing games and tell us what you know?" I growl "Ok ok" he chuckles before continuing "Yes I know the girls they are Desert and Sky" The name Desert when he said it made my heart skip a beat and looking across at Acre I could see he also had a content look on his face "Don't you think it's strange how their names are Desert and Sky and you and your brother are Ocean and Acre?" Gregory asked jolting me from my thoughts "Mmmm, so where are they?" "I'm afraid you are going to have to wait a little while longer, I had to send them out of town" "What, why?" Acre asked incredulously "It was for their safety,
A loud scream jolts me back to reality so I start running towards the big mansion where the scream had come from. As I'm running I vaguely notice the others running beside me but it's the sight ahead of me that causes me to stop in my tracks. They're among about 50 men is my beautiful mate and her sister, I can also see a body lying beside them and vaguely wonder who it is, "That must be Mathew," Gregory says "We need to help them," Lanna says aghast at the sight before her, Acre is shaking all over, ready to transform and I'm ready to jump straight into the fight. "Wait" both me and Acre turn on Gregory for suggesting something so stupid "Pease, just wait..... look," he says pointing to the girls, we both turn and I see my mate start turning on the spot whilst her sister had thrown her arms and head back as if talking to the sky, I'm momentarily confused until a sharp wind whips at me and I feel something hitting my fa
