Kaden unlocked his car, ignited the engine and zoomed off into the road. He wasn't ready to go on a cut and loose chase but he knew he had plenty of time to get a hold of the hybrid.

Kaden despised hybrids but he wasn't going to let himself get fooled by those disgusting breeds and get distracted, he had to get home first.

Slowly Kaden highlighted from the car and stormed into his room, he closed the door carefully, smiled and glad that no one had noticed that he wasn't around.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" A voice echoed behind Kaden as well as the jamming of palms like a clap.

"What do you want liam?" Kaden asked as he rolled his eyes,

"Is it so bad that I wanted to speak with my big brother?" Liam asked.

"Get out of my room this instant, and don't you dare tell anyone I wasn't in '' Kaden yelled at Liam who walked past nonchalantly.

"You can't order me around and I do care less about you going off to a party or the stench of alcohol all over you let's Just say I came here to call a truce" Liam explained with a smug grin on his face, the corners of his lips uplifted at the words as he eyed Kaden suspiciously.

Kaden felt his heartbeat with a disordered rhythm, he and Liam had been at each other's neck ever since the death of Kaden's parents.

A truce between them sounded great, Kaden had grown weary of their constant fights and hatred, he had no idea as to why liam hated him that much but a truce sounded nice to the ears.

"Get out now, I'm not calling a truce with you or anyone whatever you are up to drop it, it ain't gon work" Kaden lashed out at Liam as he walked past him.

"See you tomorrow then and then my regards to Oliver" Liam snorted as he slammed the door leaving Kaden perplexed.

Kaden felt his muscles contract and the air choked him at once, he knew Liam was onto something but he didn't know the dagger was aimed at him all along.

Kaden would be made alpha in a few days and he had the perfect personality, he had been trained thoroughly for it,he had lived all his life preparing for that particular day but one flaw he had was that he was bisexual.

Although it was a free world and things had changed, times had evolved and every one had the right to make their choice but Kaden felt he could not let the pack know about his sexuality.

They would not accept him but he had worked harder and better than anyone else, Kaden was not ready to sacrifice his position for Anyone or any reason.

Liam would not hesitate to spill it out to anyone but tonight wasn't the night to argue or yell at anyone, Kaden had his graduation tomorrow and as much as he'd love to bail he had no choice.

The pack wanted an alpha that was good at all things and understood the human life just as much as that of wolves, they beleived in formation of alliances and he had to make school work somehow.

Kaden dropped his keys by a table and walked into the bedroom as he wondered why Liam had walked into his room in the first place.

"Bastard" Kaden mouthed as he fell into the bed and memories of the clubhouse came to him. Kaden was determined more than ever to get Cece by all means possible.

The pink fingers of the sun crawled across the room as the rays were emitted slowly.

The tapping of heels approached slowly towards the bed, the heels withdrew from the bed and walkez towards the farther end slowly.

Suddenly the curtains were pulled apart with a loud noise which caused Kaden to jerk up from his sleep immediately.

"Aunt common" Kaden yelled as he turned to bed again, this time he had his duvet wrapped around him, his face , his head and every part of his body.

"Your uncle will be here in five minutes and you had better get ready by then an alpha must always be prepared and ready," Maya explained.

Maya was Leo's wife, Leo was Kaden's uncle and a beta to the pack while Maya was an inlaw.

Ever since the death of the alpha and Luna Leo had controlled the activities of the pack and held it together.

However he had decided to hand down the position to Kaden without him asking for it, Leo had tried his best to handle the pack and made it stronger even without an alpha,

But he knew it was not his position, or duty he had to pass it down to the actual owner and he did it with greed.

Although Leo had never coveted the position he was scared for his son Liam who was another thing entirely.

Liam had grown up under tough reins and trained alongside Kaden, both were like sworn brothers but the drastic change occurred when Kaden was told to take up his position as alpha.

Maya feared her son might do actual harm to Kaden as well, although Maya could not blame her son for wanting the position after all his father had worked harder than anyone in keeping the pack together but it wasn't just right.

Kaden nodded and walked lazily out of bed into the bathroom, he turned on the shower and got into the bathtub . He heard Maya's heels withdraw from his room.

He sponged himself and cleaned up gradually, he washed his face and applied some lotion as he walked out if the bathroom.

He hummed low tones as he danced across the room towards the mirror, he stared at his reflection, buried his hands deep into hair.

"Hello psycho good morning we've got lots of things to do today" Kaden said into his reflection before laughing like a psycho which he really is.
