Freya's POV.

Agatha was right. This place was like a minefield of bitter and angry people who tried their hardest to mask their distaste with a smile.

Ray had disappeared into another room the moment I stepped into the hall, leaving me standing there, feeling less than as I walked around with the tray of drinks in my hands, trying to fit in with the other servers.

But I didn't. I knew my scent was different, making me an easy prey.

" A human?! Zarek you really outdid yourself" one woman said as she tapped zarek on the hand happily the moment I passed.

His eyes widened as he spotted me, questioning why I was out of that rotten cell and serving drinks, but I paid him no heed, the rebellious part of me enjoying the confusion in his eyes a single gave him a glass of drink, eyes mocking him.

" She is a prisoner of war" he replied simply, face now stern as he snatched the drink away.

She giggled. One of those fake laughter I have heard women do when they are trying to seduce men.

She turned to look at me now, her eyes glinting with obvious mischief.

" So how does it feel serving the people that killed yours? You all call us monsters don't you? How does it feel to serve one?" She asked.

I could tell that a good number of people had turned away from their business to ogle at me now like i wss some rare artifact.

I could feel their eyes glued on my skin as they waited for my response, the heat from their gaze making my palms sweat.

" It's funnier that you all even feel safe to drink what has been on my tray. Should you not be scared? I heard wolfsbane is poison to all of you and in the town I come from, we never leave the house without a vial of wolfsbane" I said.

Zarek spat the drink out quicker than I could anticipate, his eyes turning red with fury as he grabbed me by the neck, the tray and glass cups clattering to the ground, the whole party falling silent.

" How dare you human! You would not dare!" He growled, eyes now peak white, his wolf about to tear me into shreds.

I managed to smile behind the painful clutch on my throat.

" It's funnier because you claim to not be scared of my kind, but look at you all riled up because of a little lie" I said.

I knew I had succeeded in making a fool of him, and to some extent it made me happy. It was a little payback for locking me up in that cell, for bringing me to this pack of monsters instead of killing me.

" In law! I like this human! She has a feisty mouth on her and I can tell that all she has given you is trouble" a man said, smiling face and scary eyes, nodding as he stepped forward.

Oh, he was Agatha's brother. The one who was supposed to buy me.

" She is fine." Zarek gritted out, letting go of my throat with such force that my head whipped back as though in slight denial.

" I would love to buy her from you. I heard that you and your pack members need more ammunitions. Especially after using it all on the battle field with these weak creatures.

Let me replenish your ammunition for the girl." He said.

A few cheers went up in the air, as though zarek just struck a gold mine.

This was what Agatha meant.

Making the pack thing my being bought was to their advantage.

" Why do you want to pay so much from such a puny human?" Zarek asked, raising the suspicion.

But this man only chuckled, pacing around as he stared at me over, hands curling up into my collar bone.

" I want to make her suffer myself. If she is the last one of those humans, I want to keep the alive for as long as I can and torture her for the mistakes of her ancestors. I don't mind what I would have to pay to get her" he said.

Zarek grunted.

" I mean...." He was beginning to say but one voice interrupted, loud and clear, ringing through the small hall like thunder, leaving me perplexed as to how inhumane it sounded.

" Two acres of land on the south west of my borders" the voice said, causing everyone to turn to stare at it, the shock in their eyes mirroring mine.

I did not see him at first from where I stood, but slowly, he walked forward, the pure aura of death rolling off of him in waves as he stared at me, eyes a complex rollercoaster of emotions.

He was a staggering mass of muscles and height, his eyes so utterly green I could have sworn they were cut from the forest, hair a tousled mess that he still somehow managed to pull off.

" It's alpha Kaiser!" One voice whispered from behind me.

" What is he saying! Two acres of his land?! For that human?!" Another voice whispered.

All around me, I could hear the thoughts rolling off them in torrents, some not bothering to lower their voice, talking about me like I was a mere figment of their imagination and not a person that was standing in front of them.

Zarek stood tall now, eyes into slits.

" And why do you want to buy her too? Why are you even here? You were never invited into my lands" he said, his voice challenging this man that had struck an awe in me.

" This party is for every alpha. And I'm an alpha...and as to why I want to buy this puny human.... She is my mate" he said, eyes flickering to where I stood before laying them to rest of zarek again.

The uproar that filled the hall was nothing compared to the turmoil in my head.

Why was I mated to two alphas?

  • the human belongs to alpha kaiser    serving the banquet of monsters

Freya's POV " What are you doing here? You want to kill me finally?" I asked him, taunting him, enjoying how haphazard his gaze seemed to be.He muttered a jabble of words and spittle, opening the cage door and dragging me out.I expected a lot of things. A slap, maybe insults." I hate you..I hate you so much that my blood curdles just staring at you" he said, voice taunt. Those words seemed like razors in the skin of my heart.I did not remember being so touchy when it came to words, but I knew, that somehow, his words affected me more than I had bargained for." Well you can leave then. After all you want me dead in the fields " I said to him. Now, in that dimly lit room, I could see pain enter his eyes as I said that. One moment, I was standing in front of the bars, taunting him with my words and my eyes, and the next, the cage doors were flung open, pressing me on the wall, his body flush on mine." I hate you. I hate the thought of you and the sound of your voice. But this stup

  • the human belongs to alpha kaiser    a risky play

Freya's POV In the cold embrace of the room, I finally sat on the floor, looking her in the face. A skillset my father taught me.Your enemies can't lie if you know how to detect their lies. Look into their eyes." What do you want from me?" I asked her.She sighed, eyes looking at me with such small precision, like she was the predator, and I, the prey." You are the mate of my husband. Some would say you are his better half. That is such a big threat to my position you know? And I fought tooth and nail to get here now. It's so unfair that if word gets out about you being his mate, my premise may be compromised" she said.I struggled to keep in my laughter. Her? A wolf. Threatened by me a mere human and mortal? these creatures were known for their pride in their strength. this....was a discovery." Your kind hates me. They would dislike me more if they find out that I'm their beloved alpha's soulmate" I said. She shrugged, her pale brown hair bouncing off her shoulders." I won't b

  • the human belongs to alpha kaiser    an offer from the lioness

Freya's POVI did not expect the dungeons to smell like roses and petals, but I did not expect it to smell so badly. When I was led in here, I had managed to count at least twelve dead bodies, all piled in different corners, maggots playing on their remaining flesh, while some had been down here for so long they did not have a single flesh on their bones. If I had not seen worse back at my town, I would have succumbed to the urge to retch. My cell wasn't in much better circumstances too. It was unnecessarily small, making sitting difficult.I found myself crouching in an uncomfortable manner, my two legs feeling stiff with each passing moneng I spent in that position.True to the commands of their leader, I was beaten every single hour, each stroke of the whip taking a small chunk of my flesh back with it.I lost track of time and my mind was messed up with every minute I spent in the stench. And then, when I was so sure I could not do it any longer, I heard the metal gates open and t

  • the human belongs to alpha kaiser    pain as an illusion

Freya's POV Pain. Pain seemed to be the dominant feeling I experienced the very moment I opened my eyes." Prisoner six! Get a move on we don't have all day to play babysitting." A guard boomed, his voice causing some of my clan to shiver and cower." Prisoner six! Did you not hear what I just said?" He yelled again. Blurry. My vision was still blurry as I felt my body being lifted off the floor like I was a feather, a slap crossing my cheeks swiftly.Oh. I was prisoner six." The alpha would like that one. She has a big mouth on her and quite impressive skills. Single handedly killed hundreds of our good men." Another guard chimed in.Even though the snicker was evident in his voice, I could not help but feel proud. I took the lives of these monsters'friends. Just like they took the lives of mine.My body hit the sand again and the journey continued. I had no idea where we were going but I knew this was the end. The end of humanity. These monsters have taken over. The burden I car
