**Lily's POV**

I was sitting on the edge of the bed, gazing at the shining ring adorning my finger. It was a simple piece, but the pack symbol engraved on it made it special. I admired it, reminiscing about the night when the Alpha had thrown it out the window, and I had retrieved it. Jennie, my friend and roommate, was seated on the bed next to mine, wearing a worried expression on her face.
