Lahat ng Kabanata ng Of Flames and Roses: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

"What?" She asked, frowning."I need a promise from you."Ahankara blinked. "What kind of promise?"Yashvir stepped closer to her, but she backed away from him. He sighed, and then gently cupped her cheeks, not stepping any closer to her."I want you to promise me, that no matter what happens, you will always remain loyal to me, and to Kalang. No matter what happens, even if you get a chance to, you will never try to escape. Because Ahankara, this is not a prison for you. This is your home now, and I can only make you feel at home if you are willing to accept this Castle as yours. So promise me, you're not going to abandon Kalang, or me," he said softly.Ahankara stared into his eyes with her mouth parted, as she thought over his words. Was he asking too much? Definitely."You mean I should stay with you no matter how you treat me?" Ahankara questioned."N

Yashvir touched the small cut on his cheek, and brought his finger before his eyes to find blood. Maharani Hansa Bai's royal ring had really left a mark on his face. And it stung."What have I done?" Yashvir raised an eyebrow. "What were you about to do, Maa Sa?" He questioned in disbelief. His jaw was clenched, and his fists were now balled on his sides."What else did you expect? Do you know the manner in which she was talking to me?" Hansa Bai glared at Ahankara, who quietly moved to the side, allowing herself to be completely blocked from view by Yashvir's large figure."I know. I was right outside, listening to the conversation," Yashvir stated, crossing his arms."And still you're questioning my actions?" Hansa Bai narrowed her eyes into slits."Of course. Not a single word that she said was wrong, Maa Sa. Not even one. And even if you felt offended by any of it, you could h

Ahankara slowly opened her eyes, as the dim light shone upon her face, slowly pulling her into consciousness. She tried to breathe through her nose, but it was still blocked, and even though she felt well rested, she could still feel pain in her legs. She shifted slightly, and her face collided into something, which was definitely not a pillow. It took her a moment to remember the previous night, and her eyes widened when she did. She gasped and sat up, shuffling away from Yashvir. She tilted her head slightly to see him properly, and frowned when she found him fast asleep. He was in a half-way sitting position, and his head was dangling to the side in an extremely uncomfortable way. She thought of leaving him the way he was, but remember the way he had cared for her the previous nights. Even despite her struggles and objections, he had remained adamant on being there for her, and even though she hated him with all her heart, she could not help but appreci

As soon as she saw who it was, a gasp escaped her mouth, and a huge smile spread across her lips. Tears instantly formed in her eyes, as she covered her mouth in happiness."Neha!" She whispered in disbelief."Khamma Ghanni Rajkumari," Neha grinned, as tears left her eyes as well. She opened her arms for Ahankara, who readily pulled her into a hug, sobbing into her shoulder. Meanwhile Yashvir watched them from a distance, a small smile on his face. Ahankara pulled away from the hug, and cupped her cheeks."How are you? How's everyone at home? Who brought you here? Did Bhai Sa send you?" She asked in excitement."Calm down, calm down," Neha laughed, placing her hands on Ahankara's shoulders. "I've been miserable, obviously. The Palace felt like hell to me without you, Rajkumari. You didn't even write to me!" She complained."I haven't been getting much time, Neha, and I've been unwell the p

"I need to know!" Yashvir's voice echoed through the courtroom, making everyone flinch, including Ahankara who stood beside him. The entire staff of the Palace was present there, as well as each member of the Royal Family, and the nobles who spent most of the time within the Palace walls.Yashvir walked down the raised platform that his throne was set on, and made his way to his mother. "How could you let this happen, Maharani Sa?" He addressed her formally, as he spoke like the Yuvraj of Kalang, and not the son of Hansa Bai."Yuvraj," Hansa Bai said softly, her tone calm and composed. "It must have been a coincidence, why would anyone deliberately try to harm Rajkumari Ahankara?""Because the people within these walls," Yashvir said loudly, his gaze shifting to Rani Aaradhya, who was standing in the corner, her gaze stuck on the floor, "do not like her very much." He walked towards her, and stopped right in front of her,
