As a gush of air passed by brushing her hair and tickling her skin, Ava stood there wondering about Noah. 'He didn't tell me about coming here. Uh, may be he came here to talk to Dylan about our conversation.' She was biting on her lips while her gaze remained glued to the closed door of Dylan's house as she kept rooted a few yards away from there. Her hands were tucked in the pockets, face slightly red of morning weeping. After having avoided Ethan in school and asking him to give her some space, she had sought to spend some time on the campus by sitting on the green bed of grass under the sunlight.  Her idea did not work notwithstanding. Dylan had come today. He was refusing her calls too. She desired to talk to him and ask him why he was like that! And when he refused to take her calls or see her messages, she decided to arrive at his place and talk to him.  

 Ava's POV Emily invited me in. She was petrified after noticing my tears and red face. "Here, take this." Her hands supported the glass and led it near my mouth so I could drink from it. My throat has gone dry. Totally dry as you would see a land during a tough summer morning. A land with cracks and no ounce of moisture in it. Thankfully, as the water passed through the pipe in my throat, my increased heart beats calmed down a little bit. It had no effect on my shivering, regardless. My fingers quivered like a window under a stormy rainy day. My lips shook as though I was under severe trauma. So was I. Only I could not believe if it was true or not. What I saw... What I heard was replaying in my mind ceaselessly. "Good. Now take deep breaths and try to calm yourself down!" I sought to follow Emily's words, but in vain.

  44       Ethan's POV         "You found her?" Waiting by the side of street near school, I talked to my friend Jack.         His sigh was the first answer that came than his reply, "Unfortunately not. I looked everywhere. She is nowhere near her house."         "Fuck! This girl will kill me one day." I worried my lower lip between the teeth.         "Alright then, thanks buddy. It is almost night. You better head back home, I will search for Ava alone." I said, stretching my hands.         My entire body was aching. I have been looking crazily for Ava everywhere in the city where she could go.     

  "Miss. Jones, mind telling us about where you are lost? We would love to bring you back to earth so you pay attention in the class." Ava was looking out of the window during the class, when the teacher saw her.  "Umm, Sorry ma'am." She looked down in her book while the teacher rolled her eyes before resuming her teaching.  Ava clutched her teeth tight and raised her head to focus. Her gaze eventually crossed the room and met with the dark pair of eyes that had been staring at her through out.  Ethan.  He was sitting with Dylan. The two guys were looking at her. Ethan with emotionless eyes while Dylan with sympathy.  Ava ignored them both and concentrated on the diagram that teacher was explaining.  'I hate them both. They are liars and cheaters.' She played with her pen, still being able to feel Ethan'

  Ava's POV Yet another few hours rolled by with me shedding my tears of pain. The dilemma won't let me breathe peacefully. My heart felt heavy. As if it was weighed with the burden of something I was to be accused. While the sky darkened pitch black, stars twinkled quite aggressively. But here, in the room, I felt suffocated. My lungs won't swell properly, I could not breath deeply. This room was making my breathing hard which is why, I immediately pulled out a jacket and threw it around my back, and came out of my room. My legs halted at the door, the conversation I had with Noah now bothered me. It led me to look at the door of his room, it was closed. I wished to go inside and hug him, but my body would not follow it. I had mixed feelings. Sympathy and anger combined. I wanted my brother back as my best brother. I wanted the both of us to be best sib
