As we neared the forest I spotted Naomi and Gareth bolting through the trees towards the cave.I chirped as loud as I could to try and get their attention. The waves rocked our room back and forth like a crib. I circled my finger on Ava's shoulder as she slept on my chest.I couldn't sleep most of the night. The mermaid as well as two of her friends came back and have been following us all night. They stayed close to my room away from the other crew members and their snarls kept me up.Since I was up I took the time to prepare the spells I will need for today.A large wave must have come by because the room shook and the bed even rattled a bit." Winter air has always been one of my favourite things.
