I let out a hiss as a glass shard is yanked out of my arm. The pack doctor tosses it into a small metal bowl before looking over my face. “How did you get this much glass in your skin?” He asks, moving to take a fairly large fragment out of my shoulder.“It was a car crash but I don’t remember there being any windows in the back,” I mutter, gritting my teeth against the pain.

I look around at the angels laying on the ground, most of their wings bent at odd angles. My agonized screams echo through the forest. The painful burning underneath my shoulder blades is at the point where I feel like I’m going to pass out.“Ana I know you’re in pain but if we don’t get out of here right now we’ll all be dead,” Daniel says.
