Chapter Eleven - We have a huge problem

Freya Rose I awoke from my slumber but kept my eyes firmly shut as the events of last night began to flood my mind. Slowly but surely every touch, thought, and feeling, washed over me making my heart race and cheeks redden. I felt an arm slide across my tummy and pull me towards them, from the spark I felt as his fingers touched my skin I knew it was Mason. He let out this gorgeous little groan as he stirred from his sleep. He then nuzzled into my neck leaving tiny little kisses all over it. I giggled and squirmed as his kisses tickled my neck, but he just pulled me in tighter towards him. His bare chest was so hot on my skin and every bit of it sent sparks surging through my body. Chapter Twelve - You got me

Freya Rose “What's the hunter's Council and why would they want to kill me?” I asked Mason.He was very panicked, and I knew this was extremely serious, but I didn't have a clue what he was on about. “Come with me to the office, Evan and I will explain everything,” he said as he held out his hand for me to take. I took his hand and followed him as he gently pulled me into my dad's office. Once in the office he sat down on the couch and patted the seat beside him. I sat down and waited for someone to explain. Evan walked over to me and handed me a whisky. I took it from him and said in a light-hearted way,“Really Evan? It's like ten in the morning.” I let out a little chuckle but then silenced myself when I saw his worried expression.“You're gonna need it, Angel, trust me!” He replied in a low and gruff voice.

Chapter Thirteen - Mina watch out

Freya Rose Knock, knock. Our laughter was interrupted by a gentle tap on the office door.“Ahem.” I cleared my throat and waved at the guys to quit their playing around.Mason ran over to the couch and sat down on it, placing the fire extinguisher down the side out of view. Chapter Fourteen - This isn't funny

Freya Rose I was crouched down on the concrete basement floor. My vision was still obscured, my face and arm were heavily bleeding, and I still could not contact my wolf. I felt deflated and believed that this would be the end for me. I couldn't see any way out of the dire situation that I was in. Unless my vision, or wolf senses miraculously reappeared within the next few seconds, I knew that I wouldn't be able to protect myself from her next attack. I held my blood-covered hand in front of me for protection, then used my other hand to feel behind me as I shuffled backwards. I didn't want her being able to sneak up behind me, so I decided to back myself up against the wall. Every time I inched back a little I could hear her feet take a few steps forward. At least I know she's in front of me, I thought to myself. My hand finally hit the brick wall, so I pushed myself up against it and gradually rose to my feet.

Chapter Fifteen - We need to leave

Freya Rose Mason had been flying for hours, I kept asking if I could fly beside him. He must have been getting tired by now, but he insisted that he wanted to carry me. He said that he'd nearly lost me once today and he didn't ever want to let me go. I decided to do as he wished and stayed curled up in his arms. I think I managed to drift off to sleep for around twenty minutes or so, but was awoken by a rumble of thunder shortly thereafter. I laid my head back down onto Mason's chest then sighed out loud as we continued to fly through the ash-gray cloud-covered sky.“It looks like it's gonna rain soon,” I stated sullenly to Mason.“It doesn't matter, because we're already here,” he replied unusually excited, which seemed odd to me considering the situation we were currently in. Chapter Sixteen - Why so mad, huh?

Freya Rose “Mason, what in the hell are you doing? Where are we going? What's wrong?” I quickly bombarded him with questions, not giving him a chance to answer the first before moving onto the next.“Freya, shhh please, my mom's watching us, just act like everything's normal,” he answered through a gritted smile while he waved at Sadie through the kitchen window.I smiled at Sadie and she returned the smile. Chapter Seventeen - Where's, Mason?

Mason Hart I gazed up at the starlit sky that blanketed my hometown, with the love of my life sleeping on my lap. It was the best feeling in the entire world. I had long given up on finding my Fianna, and now look at us. It's been a tough road, and there is much more that we need to face, but I know that with Freya by my side we can achieve anything. Chapter Eighteen - My Queen

Freya Rose As soon as I heard Sadie and Charlie's car pull away I let my rage take over. I screeched into the air, instantly triggering my ascension. As my wings ripped through the skin on my shoulder blades, I threw my arms upwards and caught the dining table with my fingertips, which sent it crashing into the wall with enormous force. The plates and cups smashed into millions of pieces, sending food and ceramic shards hurtling through the air around me as I burst into my brilliant electrical flames.
