Work was becoming too much for me, and Antonio didn't bother to check on me or the document he kept on my desk, which I didn't read by the way, no time to waste on pointless things.I was at work pretty early, earlier than usual, because the looks that I had been getting from Mr. Blue scared me; it wasn't the usual mean look, it was more of a relaxed look, which I think meant he was tired of my bullshit and was going to fire me soon; so I decided I wasn't going to let him make that decision. 

I tell you, being on Mr. Blue's good side is the best place anyone wants to be, I was enjoying favors that was unusual. I could happily arrive late at work without being yelled out; for the first time, my job was not on the line, it was good to know; and you know me, late coming is my second name.I arrived late at work, again, strolling in like I owned the place. "Hey uhm, you have a visitor" Melissa told me when I got to the floor my office was on.

It surprised me how I was able to get to work on time, with my encounter with Antonio. It felt like the man just knew what buttons to push, and when to push them to get me annoyed; he was a pro at it. When I stepped into the building, there were a lot of eyes on me; it wasn't the first time I was stepping into the office and having everyone look at me, but something was different; everyone had disgusted looks on heir faces and they were whispering to each other. Office gossip had never been my issue, in fact, there was nothing worth gossiping about, so I had never bothered myself with office gossip. 

I woke up with a heavy arm draped over my body, it was hot and uncomfortable. Thinking I was on my bed, I tried to shift but ended up on the floor, only then it occurred to me that we spent the night on the couch. I sat on the floor, looking at a messy haired Antonio sleeping soundly, with his lips slightly parted. He looked harmless, like he couldn't even hurt a fly if it was given to him; but it was a lie, the man destroyed my insides last night, so much that falling on the floor hurt more than it should've. I was in pain and he was sleeping soundly, what's the witchcraft? I smiled mischievously as a plan formed in my head.
