While Christopher was extremely relieved that Brianna had escaped he could not let his guard down yet. There was multiple times he had to duck or hide somewhere as the soldiers ransacked their village. He would pass houses and could hear things being smashed, or the soldiers getting excited about something they had found. It wasn't long until he reached his home only to discover that it was empty. Filled with fear and panic he looked around the house only to discover that there was no signs of a struggle, no blood, most of all no bodies. Christopher was both happy and terrified. It is always the things we do not know that we fear the most."Well come on then you god damn cowards!" Christopher could hear his fathers voice accompanied by weapons clashing. Chris ran outside, his mother was being shielded by his father who was holding his sword out front of him. There was already the bodies of five soldiers around him, although anyone could see he was beginning to tire and had mu

Present day.Sarah stood stunned. Her face was pale even though she had nothing to do with the story Elise just told her. she could not stop the feelings of guilt in her stomach. She had never heard of such things happening!? It was one of the nobles belonging to her country, yet she never was made aware. Although it was a very bitter pill to swallow Sarah could not bring herself to doubt the story she just heard. Elise would have no reason to lie to her about such a thing, In these circumstances Sarah and her group were almost completely dependent on Chris and Elise's help, there was nothing to gain from her lying and most of all no reason to. In the very short time she knew Elise she could feel she was an honest person.Sarah swallowed her saliva. " So that is why he hates the Empire so much?"Elise nod her head. " That is part of it. another part is what you heard earlier at the fire, but even then that is not all of the story. Before you ask, I will tell you

A few hours had passed since the group turned north east and Thomas sat down next to Chris and whispered."Hey Chris we are definitely being followed.""Yea I noticed them a while ago. Although at this point it seems like they aren't even trying to hide their presence anymore." The first time Chris noticed them the man he saw had done a pretty good job hiding in some bushes up on top of a hill, now though there was a group of four sitting on horses watching them out in the open."I think it's safe to say either these people have found their balls or there definitely is more of them and they're feeling quite confident in their numbers." Chris smirked."What do you say we go introduce ourselves?" Thomas said with a big smile. "Naah its tempting but I don't want them to get scared and second guess themselves. When we say hello I also want it to be a firm goodbye."Braum and Sarah watched Thomas and Christopher's exchange, although they di

"HEEEK!" A high pitched shriek could be heard on the streets outside of the bar.At this moment a giant of his man fell to his knees letting out a noise completely unthinkable for his character. Upon his knees touching the ground the man in black punched him once and delivered a strong kick to his chest. he slid backwards a few feet and crumpled to the floor unable to breathe and suffering from the pain in his nether regions he hit the floor like a  bag of bricks."Well anyone else want to water the dog!?" The man in black called out to everyone in the bar in a challenging manner. In the next moment six men who were friends of the taller man all stood. The man on the floors face was now as red as a tomato, you could see the veins sticking out in his neck and forehead. " What are you waiting for? Kill him!" he half shrieked. The group of friends did not need anymore encouragement and let loose a battle cry and charged at the man some with bare fist, two of them had

After Daniel had a moment of reflection he bid farewell to Christopher and Thomas." I owe you for your help, and I promise I will pay it back." He called out as he jumped onto a horse riding out of the town. For a moment Christopher could only help but wonder if the horse even belonged to Daniel the way he took off on it like a bat out of hell."Hey that's my horse!" A man ran out of the bar chasing after him. 'Well guess that answers that question.'Elise followed him out of the bar with a big grin on her face. "  I must say you gentlemen know how to show a lady a wonderful evening. fine dining especially I think i saw dirt falling onto my plate. Oh lets not forget the watered down warm alcohol, and last but not least the amazing show... Oh what is a girl to do I just can't stop myself from swooning. Take me now while this feeling remains!""Well I mean if you insist.." Thomas chuckled to himself walking towards Elise with his hands ex
