Sarah was seething. Her face was as red as a tomato and a vein was clearly protruding from her forehead. Without saying a word she quickly got to her feet and moved back to her spot in the front of the wagon and took a seat next to Vanessa. Braum wanted to chase after her but figured it would be best to give her space. Even someone as blunt as him could figure out it was best to leave her alone. Braum was also upset by this, really he was expecting her to handle the conversation much better. No matter how angry he got he would never be able to turn his anger towards the Princess though. However there was one person he could direct his hatred towards. He turned and glared at Christopher. ' This is your fault! This only began when she met you!' Braum thought to himself.Apart from Braum and Sarah everyone was mostly in high spirits. Of course their tag alongs had already appeared not far behind them."MMM Lord Dalton, You should have tried those skewers back there! They

"Holy shit! My lord! It's him! He's the one who attacked your brother!" Screamed one his men. Dalton froze mid breath mouth wide open."You have to be kidding me? There's just no way. Dalton was absolutely struggling not to laugh. 'This guy!? This guy has been the issue this whole time! He is the text book definition of common! How the fuck did he beat Jordan so bad!? Yes he's useless but even Jordan had been trained from a young age to fight, hell he was at a military academy. Maybe he was actually ambushed at school and I heard the facts wrong.'"Let me say this before anything. Granted you are nothing but animal in the dirt, you have balls of steel to show up here."......"I've been hearing that quite a lot lately." Christopher mumbled, grabbing the waste line of his pants pulling them out and looking down. " They look completely normal to me." "You must be mocking me! I am going to enjoy putting you down like the beast you are ba

"I guess you could say it's very comparable to acid!" Christopher announced cheerfully.Everything that was the being of Dalton Novak was screaming inside his head. Every part of his body wanted to seize up, blow up, or throw up.. Every bad up you can think of... Hearing this and witnessing the joyful grin of this monster in front of him he wanted to vomit but fought it as much as he could. If he puked it would slow him down. He almost fainted but the tiny, tiny bit of willpower he could muster forbid him from doing so.  The mist caught up to him but he felt no pain. It quickly wrapped where he was standing, leaving him about one foot of space separating his feet from the mist.He could no longer take it. He began crying, the flood gates could no longer hold back the tide. At this moment if Christopher held a blade to his throat he would resign himself and accept death with open arms. But this..  This was too cruel. Dalton knew he was no saint. In the past he

.... ...."Sooo has anyone else noticed?" "Yea it's pretty hard to miss." "What are you two talking about ?" Sarah asked curiously walking up to Garrett and Vanessa."We're discussing how John seems to be damn near kissing the ground Christopher walks on..." Vanessa answered. The three of them could only gaze in wonder as the ex Lieutenant under Dalton ran about packing everything up from their camp and even was doing everyone else's work for them. It had been Two days since he arrived. Despite his rough appearance and gruff voice not only had he been a perfect gentlemen to the ladies, and got along with everyone. Except Braum... Fuck that guy... at least that was John's current views. Christopher's enemies were his enemies. On top of getting along with everyone in the group, he had been a huge help. Packing, unpacking, meal time, getting water. Almost all of the work was being carried out by him."You know John you can rel

As Christopher and Thomas were approaching the rest of their group John and Vanessa saw them first and ran over to them."Chris! Braum kept insisting you and Thomas left!""Sir, Something has happened. I thin-" Chris held up his hand but did not slow his pace. "It's ok I got it.""Chirs!" Sarah called out happily. In front of him the group seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.Christopher came to a stop with his arms crossed. "Well seems our little party has grown....A lot." Behind Sarah and the rest sat twenty Imperial Knights on horseback with Braum in the lead. Their armor all bearing the same family crest as him. 'Personal troops huh.'With just a glance anyone could tell these were no common soldiers. They all wore plate armor and carried themselves as abled veterans. One of the men spurred his horse forward and looked down at Christopher with contempt."So you're Christopher? I sent some men to find you. By any chance did yo
