Alex's POV I couldn't get the kiss out of my mind, I was laying in my bed, running my fingers over my lips, memorizing how soft her lips felt against mine. I felt my heart pound faster every time I thought about her or the kiss. My thoughts were broken when Rory entered my room, screaming out her lungs, I got up from my bed and she rushed to me with tears on her face; she clung herself to my legs, hiding her face in them. I sighed, knowing who did this to her. "I didn't break it," Daniel yelled from the other room.

Lavender's POV I couldn't describe how much I hated Sundays.  Or I hated that I was going to the River's home. "Did you bring the cookies?" Saph asked as we approached the River's house, I nodded. She insisted that we must take something to the house and my mom would beat me if I took nothing, so Sapphire and I baked some cookies as they were Rory's favorite. I walked behind my sister as she was faster than me. We reached the door, and I rang the bell. I looked at the house, a three-story house more like a mansion, I looked around the house and there were two cars parked and t

Alex's POV "You mean we end up dead?" She asked. I stared into her eyes blankly, a bit shocked by her question.I wanted to chuckle at her, but I fought it off. His footsteps were getting closer to my room.Danny, I will kill you for ruining my moment, even though Lavender already ruined it.I was still close to her. She cleared her throat, and I moved back to my spot before Danny could see our position. He came in with a stupid smile on

Alex’s POV “Queens, that’s two hundred push-ups for you.” Coach whistled, and she rolled her eyes and sat beside her boyfriend. How much related are you Tiffany to Henry? I asked myself as my eyes followed her; she had a playful smirk on her face, then her gaze met mine. I tore my gaze away and looked at Lavender. Finding her unconscious, Dustin was next to her, trying to wake her up. “Can someone get water please?” he yelled.  I rushed over to them with a water bottle. I got on my knees, opening the bottle, I sprinkled some water on her face and she opened her eyes slowly, her hand went up to her head and she groaned.  “I freaking knew it,” she grumbled, closing her eyes. “Screw you, Alex,” she said, making Dustin chuckle. “T

Lavender’s POV I took a sip from my coffee, my eyes glued on the old newspapers. I flipped through the paper, sighing when it was another useless article. Nothing made sense anymore, everything that happened that day seemed to be planned perfectly with zero flaws. No clues left, nothing to trace.  As I said, it was a dead end. “Lavender, it’s becoming late,” Tia yawned, her eyes were closing slowly as she held another newspaper.  I kinda dragged her into this. She was the only one I could trust right now, and I didn’t want to come all by myself to the library. There was a lot to look into, and I needed someone’s help without explaining much. “Can’t we work on your project for another day? I can buy you some time with Mrs. Parker, she’s a good friend of mine,&

Lavender’s POV I gasped for air as the cold water hit my skin. Panic filled me once I saw the two men from earlier standing by the door. I tried to move, only finding myself restrained to the wooden chair.  Both of them took off their masks and smirked. I couldn’t see their faces clearly with the dim light in the room. But their presence was enough to fill me with fear. My gaze fell on the sharp object in his hand, feeling blood stop in my veins. “Wakey wakey princess,” he said with a smile as he came closer to me. He bent to my eye level then brushed my wet hair away from my vision, I squirmed from his touch, but he held my jaw roughly and looked into my eyes. “Don’t make it hard on yourself or we will send your head to Alex,” he threatened me, holding the knife against my throat.

Amy’s POV “I’m sorry Amy, I don’t know what to say they knocked me out,” Tia whimpered, resting her cheeks on her hand as she stared at the nothingness. I walked back and forth, nibbling on my lips, trying to think of something. All I could think of was calling the police, I couldn’t just stay here doing nothing. “I hope she is fine, you know what I will call the pol-“  “You do that and they will kill her,” Tia shouted, jolting up from the chair. She was right, they had a gun as she mentioned and if the police are involved, they could kill my baby girl. A knock came on the door and I rushed to open the door, thinking it was Lavender. Disappointment hit me as I saw Alex, Ruby, and Dustin. I let them in and closed the door, already feeling crushed. “Mr

Alex’s POV “Can’t we track her down?” Ruby suggested, and Dustin shook his head. “She doesn’t have her phone, smartass,” he said sarcastically, and Ruby sighed.  It had been seven hours since we arrived. The sun was up and no news about Lavender.  Right before Amy left with Sapphire and Tia, she received a photo of Lavender passed out and tied up to a chair, making her panic. She insisted on returning once she dropped Sapphire at Zia’s house. “Tell us your thoughts man, your silence is creeping me.” She nudged me. I lifted my gaze off the phone, glancing at her before looking back at the screen.
