Lavender’s POV

I took a sip from my coffee, my eyes glued on the old newspapers. I flipped through the paper, sighing when it was another useless article. Nothing made sense anymore, everything that happened that day seemed to be planned perfectly with zero flaws.

No clues left, nothing to trace. 

As I said, it was a dead end.

“Lavender, it’s becoming late,” Tia yawned, her eyes were closing slowly as she held another newspaper. 

I kinda dragged her into this.

She was the only one I could trust right now, and I didn’t want to come all by myself to the library. There was a lot to look into, and I needed someone’s help without explaining much.
