Alexander's POV:Right after I got in the car, I felt my stomach knot and my legs tremble with nervousness. I didn't know what I was most afraid of, not finding my mother's killer or finding him sooner than expected. In both cases, my mind won't be quiet.

"Can we go inside?" Alexander asked, looking at the white wooden door."Sure," Elijah smiled. "It's your home now."They walked to the door, and Elijah took the key from his pocket before he opened the door.

Alexander had to close his eyes and open the car window to smell the fresh air in order not to throw up again.
