I woke up this morning feel good. I got the kids ready for school and sent them on their way with their dad. It was his turn to drop them off. It had been a three days since my last night with Micheal. I woke up the next morning and left him a note that I hope he have a happy life and cut off all communication. I even changed my number. I woke up the next morning with a headache. I could barely remember the night before. When the fog in my head finally cleared up, I remembered my night with Damien. It was Christmas Day. I was curled on the couch with Damien, while the kids opened their gifts. We had went all out this year. Everything they wanted, we got it.  Damien grabbed my hand and held it in his lap. I was content and just going with the flow.
