Alaric’s heart pounded against his ribs as he reached the Wilson Port Colony. Most of it was just rubble and ruins. Out of the eleven buildings, only one seemed inhabitable.He parked the car on the main road and rushed to the entrance of the building. He tugged slightly at the large gate. It swung open with a loud screech as if it was being tortured.The wooden floorboards creaked with every step he took. His heartbeat accelerated and he took off his shoes.
