Katie awoke slowly, stretching her body, a smile on her face that was the best sleep she had ever had in a long while.As she slowly began to come back to consciousness, a nagging thought came to mind and when it finally clicked, she sat straight up, a frown on her face, as she realized she was in her room.

Logan was at Katie's door at seven on the dot, knocking on her door, gazing back, Jace and Nessa had decided to accompany him or should he say, that they insisted in accompanying him, worried that he would botch things up on the way to the pack."Remember to keep things as normal as can be..." He warned them in the mind link.

Katie was too tired to really appreciate Logan's home, it had been a tiring day the day before and then a long journey.She had been grateful, after much persuasion, to let Logan take care of her brother, it was not that she was irresponsible, it was only the fact that after an emotional week, everything catching up to her, she really needed the rest.

Some would say she was crazy to go along with this, what if he was playing with her, what if he only wanted to exploit her innocence, what if he lost interest once he had what he wanted.As Katie sat there a few days later, watching as Logan played with her little brother, the one thing that kept replaying in her mind, was that for some or other reason Logan still held back a part of himself, no matter how many times they got into a heated make-out session, he would not go any further.

Stunned, it was Logan's turn to stare at Katie, "Why aren't you freaking out...?"
