Born To Kill: Past Uncovered
“Oh by the way sis, someone came over while you were still asleep. I can’t believe I almost forgot to tell you.” Marina said as we sat down on the couch. We had just finished cleaning up the living room from the mess that we had made previously. Now we were planning on brainstorming some more while waiting for the private investigator that I hired. I thought she met with the private investigator while I was asleep so naturally I asked her a bunch of questions. “Who? Was it a man? Did he say where he went? He didn’t ask to stay?” I asked. Marina was flustered by how fast I was asking questions. She shook her head and told me to calm down. I didn’t realize that I got a bit too uptight about it but I just thought that it was the person I hired and maybe Marina had asked them to come back because I was still asleep.

Born To Kill: Provocation
Marina and I have currently hit a dead end. There was no information on these documents that could lead us to a reason why Sergiu was after the Genovese, specifically he was after the Capo of the Genovese. I think he’s trying to aim for the Capo but why? I can’t seem to see a connection between him and Primo’s family. Marina and I had been brainstorming for a few hours and now we both feel exhausted. We’re so drained that we couldn’t even think straight anymore. “Do you want to get something to eat?” I asked her. Marina had slumped her head down on the table and she refused to move but at the mention of food, she immediately perked up and her attention was on me. “We’re getting food??” She asked excitedly. I giggled at her enthusiasm and I told her that we were. I asked her what she wanted

Born To Kill: Used and Abused
“Who does she think she is?? You didn’t have to hold back, Luna. You could’ve given her a taste of your fists.” Marina said. I sighed and shook my head. There was a reason why I didn’t respond to her provocations. I knew that there was someone behind her, someone was telling her to come to me and provoke me. Chiara couldn’t have done that out of her own free well. I’ll be honest, Chiara isn’t the brightest when it comes to the mafia. I could tell she was still scared of me. She knew what I was capable of, she saw it with her own eyes. Yet she still had the audacity to come here and insult me. “Relax Marina, I don’t think Chiara did all of that just because she wanted to. I’m guessing someone coerced her into doing it. I have a few clues of who it could be but I’m not that sure yet. It’s better if we don’t react to wha

Born To Kill: Unexpected
As evening came, we were surprised when we saw Niccolo and Primo got out of their car. We didn’t expect them to come home. Usually, they wouldn’t come home for at least 4 or 5 days, maybe even a week. The moment we saw their car while we were upstairs, Marina and I quickly raced down to the front door to greet them. We both ran to our husbands’ arms as they greeted us. “I can’t believe you guys get to come home. I’m so happy to see you.” I said while I hugged Primo. I felt his arms around me and I felt really secure and safe. I’m not gonna lie, I did feel a bit intimidated seeing Chiara today. She reminded me of the past and how rough it was for Primo and I. I’m not saying Primo was innocent throughout all that but I did pin most of the blame on Chiara. I wasn’t sure if I was even going to tell Primo about what happened during the day. But t

Born To Kill: Normal Family Breakfast
The following morning, Primo was already in the shower when I woke up. I quickly ran down first to the bathroom to wash up and then I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I know I’d have to make a big breakfast since Niccolo is here as well. I wasn’t sure if Primo and Niccolo were going to work today but regardless, they’ll need to eat a big breakfast. They look like they hardly eat anything nowadays. Maybe the stress from work is giving them a hard time that’s why they can’t eat that much. “You’re up early.” As I was frying some bacon, I heard Primo’s voice behind me. I quickly turned to look at him and I smiled. “I just wanted to make you some breakfast.” I said. He walked closer to me and he wrapped his arms around my waist. “I appreciate the effort you’re putting

Born To Kill: Threatened
Primo and I decided to just watch a movie with Niccolo and Marina but it was cut short when a guard came by to tell us that Chiara was by the front gate and she was yelling for the guards to let her in. I looked over at Marina and she was seething with rage. I wanted to stop her but at the same time I would also enjoy it if Marina could let loose just this once. I looked over at Primo and he had an annoyed look on his face. For someone who doesn’t readily show his emotions, he really seems to be expressing what he feels right now. “Let her in.” I ordered the guards. Both Niccolo and Marina looked at me like I was crazy. They couldn’t believe that I would dare let her into our house after what she did to me. I could understand their frustrations however, I had something else planned out for her. As soon as the guard went back to his post, I quickly ran up to our room to grab so

Born To Kill: Unfair
All of us stood by the front door, Chiara was still clutching her chest and her head was down. Her whole body wouldn’t stop quivering. I lowered my gun to allow herself to speak. If I scare  her anymore than this, she’ll stay quiet or she might even pass out. I can’t let that happen. She slowly looked up at me and noticed that I had lowered my weapon and I was no longer pointing towards her. “I’ll talk...I’ll talk…just put your gun away…please…” Chiara spoke, although her voice was quiet, everyone could still hear her. She was stuttering out of fear, exactly like how I want her to be. I know this is cruel but in order to make her submit to me, I need her to be more scared of me than whoever is making her do all of this. I took a step back so Primo and I are standing side by side. Chiara slowly got up from the floor and she looked up

Born To Kill: Reasons for Revenge
My uncle really is good at hiding. He’s like a rat; dirty and likes to hide in the darkness. It’s been a week and we still haven’t got the slightest clue on where he is. He’s clearly making his move even when he’s in hiding and it just makes everything more difficult for Primo and the others. He’s been trying to fix what my uncle keeps destroying. Most of the restaurant owners who are under the protection of the Genovese are closing up their shops to prevent any more destruction and death. They’re losing business and Primo is losing his footing as the Capo. I need to help somehow.  “Luna, have you seen the news?” Marina asked me as soon as I walked down from my bedroom and into the living room. I shook my head and told her I haven’t been watching. She stood up from the couch and grabbed my hand. She pulled me towards the living room where the tv was and she asked me to sit on the couch with her as sh

Born To Kill: Unreasonable
She showed me a part of the report where it said that his son was killed by Primo’s father. It wasn’t just a simple death. His son was brutally tortured as he was captured spying on the Genovese. On top of that, he died in the jail cell where he was kept and to warn the Bratva, Primo’s father cut off the man’s finger and sent it to his own father. That’s cruel beyond anything. I couldn’t keep a clear head after reading such a tragic end. That’s why he’s so bent on destroying the Genovese. That’s why he’s looking for the Capo. “This...this isn’t something we can fix, Marina. I’m afraid this is all up to Primo.” I told her. She was still shaking after reading what was on the reports. I couldn’t get my mind off of it. When Primo comes home, I have to tell him about it. Maybe he knows where Sergiu’s son is. We

Born To Kill: A Lot In Mind
It was hard to comprehend killing someone so elusive. It didn’t matter to me that he was a family member. We barely knew each other anyway and it was clear that he intends to hurt my family. I’ve done it before, I’ve killed people but thinking about it now, it was getting difficult for me. Maybe it was the trauma that was holding me back. As Primo lay in bed, asleep, I walked over to the window by our room. The night sky was clear, you could see the stars so clearly. I contemplated what was happening. “Luna?” I heard Primo’s voice. I turned and saw him sitting up on the bed. His instincts still kick in whenever I leave the bed. I thought about what happened to Primo during the time I was kidnapped. Did he ever walk into this room and thought about what I had been doing before I disappeared? Maybe he saw all the cameras I put up and thought that it was put there by
