I opened the dorm door and found two beds on either side of the room. There were two desks and a mini-fridge in the middle of the room. The room had its own bathroom and two windows behind both beds. College was going to be great. My best friend Christina was on her way to Florida right now. She was going to school with me and my father pulled strings for her and me to share the dorm room together. You have no idea how excited I am. It's been just shy of a year since my family and I moved here to Flordia. The first six months of my life here was a dark downward spiral of depression. I was dealing with my accident and getting over the only man I had ever loved. I had lost so much weight that the doctors put me on a meal plan. My parents were beside themselves and we fought a lot. I had to do most of my classes over and once I started to pull myself out of it. Things took a good turn for me. I had to start college late, but here I am and life is going to be better

I thought for sure I was going to hear from Dalton at some point that day, but I didn't. Chris had been acting differently ever since I told her about Dalton. I had given a call to Dawson and canceled our lunch date. It wasn't like I didn't want to go, but with Dalton around and what had happened. A date was the last thing on my mind. Besides, I had no idea where Dalton was, and the last thing I needed at the moment was him seeing me with someone else. I didn't want to hurt Dalton and for some reason, I felt like I owed him an explanation.

Dalton's POV,I sat in the dark, drink in my hand. My mind was lost again. All I could see was her. She was my other half. The only one who could keep my demons quiet. The only one that mattered. I took care of the first problem we faced and she was mine again. I still don't know who sent her parent's pictures of us, but it caused me to lose her again. I let it happen, I knew she loved me. I let them take her from me. Knowing in the back of my head. She would be mine again someday, but that's not how this is happening.&
