To say I was tired would have an understatement without question. I've been riding this horse for hours now. The sun was high in the sky but slowly setting. I wonder what she would possibly want from me. Would she kick me out if I didn't have any coins? Would she maybe make me work? I knew how to do mundane, village tasks, however, I hadn't done it in over a few years. I'm not sure if I could still do it. Before I could say anything she beat me to it. Shaking her head as she said, "I have been alone in these woods for quite some time now. As a practicer of the magical arts, I have a lot of knowledge. Your payment is merely for you to let me share my findings with you." She said with a hopeful smile. My heart melted, she is lonely. I gave her a big smile, "Of course, it would be my pleasure." Her eyes sparkled with excitement and oddly, anticipation and foresight? I must be imagining it. "I don't have any children and no one else lives in these woods besides the indigenous people. Levi's beautiful blue eyes seep into my own. Entrancing me and begging me to stay, to go back to him. I almost did, I almost lost my senses and ran into his arm.
