I exit the tent, the knights looking at me with shock as I come out completely aces. My long legs carry me over to the woods. The same woods that I saw Kathleen go into and the one Levin is located at. There I find the old woman and Levin sitting in silence."Where is Kathleen?" I ask, irritation thick in my voice. Levin's eyebrows furrow, "Did a snake get in your boots? Why are you so upset?" He already questions me. I roll my shoulders, trying to hold myself back. Releasing some tension I had. "Answer the question." I command him."Whatever do you mean? Kathleen did not come this way." He asks and then answers, his horse neighing. He pulls him and they stand still once more. "She must have gone the other way," I say with a disappointed sigh. My shoulders slaking. There is an earsplitting saturninity; sullenness; and lull. Before long I hear Aphy's old but still elegant voice say, "If you do not mind me asking, what is it you are seeking for? I might be able to

The village was in outright disarray. There were flames everywhere. I could see the knights that were there to protect the people of this were slaughtered. Including some of the villager's bodies. Blood was pooling from their lifeless bodies. There was a river in the middle of the village.Yet the river was a watery red. The fishes that lived there must have been close to death. Or already dead. There were even butchered animals, deers, in some places. Overall just pure annihilation; destruction; and death. The people of this land were in each other's arms. They were shaking, wet with tears."Oh Star." I hear Leigh whisper by my ear. Almost as if she's praying to her god, for some sort of hope. Hope that it is all just an illusion. A voice with tremble; heartache and agony. She walks carefully forward. I could see she was trying to process everything that was happening. Her breathing was speeding up. Her hands were shaking, fidgeting with anything and everything she co

"What about finding Kathleen?" I look over to Aphy after we've done the ritual. "It needs to be done in daylight. We need sun." She retorts simply shrugging along with it. "Why didn't we do that first then?" I ask with furrowed brows, shivering in the icy water, my body hairs stand up. "This had a lot of preparation." Once again she pulls up her shoulders."So we can get out of the lake now?" I hear to my side. I turn to the sound of the voice and see a shivering Levin. His lips are blue and his jaw is clattering, his skin littered with goosebumps. I give a hearty laugh and turn to Aphy. "Well?" I overly the question to aphy, she gives a laugh back. "Yes of course. You gentlemen seem too comfortable here, I didn't wish to take that from you men."Levin lets go of a strong exhale. His hands immediately letting go of the string. He moves quicker than I've ever seen him propel. He turns around and climbs right out of the lake. His whole being shivering as he

"What do you mean my brother escaped?" I command, but it comes out much more like a yell. There's a switch in my mind. The messenger quakes, his eyes grow big as I become even angrier. "The guards went to check on him. They couldn't find him and one of the guards went missing. They assumed that he had kidnapped him." He explains in complete panic. My body shakes just as much as the messenger boy, however, I'm trembling with anger. "Go, run. I'll be right behind you. Tell Dixie Donovan I'll be there soon." I command, shooing the boy away. "Levin! We must move, now!" I order him, my voice booming as I try not and attack someone. He plummets up at my yelling."Why? What has transpired?" He startles, jumping to his feet. "It's Alexander. He has escaped." I clench my jaw shut and pull my hands to fists. "What are you doing?" Aphy questions as I start packing up, completely blinded with fury. "Your hands!" Levin explains in a sheer frenzy. Aphy points at me, also to my

I expected to find my kingdom's main square in a complete and utter kerfuffle. Yet it looks perfectly faultless. No fires, no dead bodies, nothing that could possibly cause an issue. That unsettles me, what could he be planning? Silence equals danger or at least some sort of horrible plan. "Why were we in a rush again?" I hear behind me, it's Aphy's voice. "His brother escaped," Levin answers his query. "Is that a bad thing?" Aphy sounds almost surprised by his reply. "Yes, it is awful! He tried to murder me and my queen. He wished to take over the kingdom and the things his mind is filled with are terrifying." My tone is harsh. They both go quiet, "What's the matter with you two?" They both give a shrug. "You're kinda scary. I'm- we're," he turns to Aphy and she nods with him. He then continues, "worried that you might go all...goopy," Levin seems to panic, chewing on the inside of his cheek. There's a stillness between us. "I won't hurt eith
